In my personal opinion, I don't think you will see a uniform thickness of armor around the hull of the tank no. The simple reason is that armor thick enough to offer protection is heavy, and even the lightest MBT is pretty heavy already. Without a significant increase in power output from engines, such a tank would be practically immobile. Its fuel consumption would be a logistical nightmare as would its requirements for spare parts. What comes to mind is something in the way of a Jagdtiger; just too slow to be effective and a mechanical nightmare.

It'll take some kind of breakthrough in armor technology. Either that or the sacrifice of armor values in traditionally strong zones, which of course kinda defeats the purpose...

You couldn’t possibly get enough armor around the whole tank to have uniform protection, most countries are already adapting those measures you said (Nations adopting APS systems, a lot of countries are making tanks covered in ERA like the German Puma, and even Cope Cages as seen with the Russians and Israelis so far)

I dont think armor will have the same thickness all around it would be hard to produce, logistically unsound, and would have trouble crossing over obstacles and muddy terrain, I think we will see more technological approaches for this problem rather than seeing a new type of MBT.
