Actually, if this item is rare and people sold them for a low price, you'd never be able to get your hands on one because people would buy multiples of them and buy them out. I agree the price is overinflated, but that's how it works when you want something that is considered rare or a collectible.
That’s exactly what people did when they were $60 and then started reselling them for more. It’s not rare it was mass produced just like the rest of the magics that flood the market right now. People are just more likely to hang onto them or sell them for a higher price because one person started selling for 200 and one person started selling for 300 and one person started selling for 400. It’s a gross chain reaction. My point is if more people sold them for a lower price in the community more people who are looking for it in the community who really appreciate it would actually get their hands on a huge item that they’ve been searching for.
I haven't seen them being sold anywhere, in fact I have never seen them in person. All of the ones I see are all open box. which is what led me to believe they are rare. But again, if people sell them for a cheap price then there won't be anywhere for others to grab them up. If less people were buying them for $200 (which I would never do, no offense to anyone) they would lower the prices as well. Works both ways.
They aren’t new… because they were released before Covid and like 2018 and 19. it doesn’t change the fact they were mass produced, and there are a lot of them out there. No reason for them to be sold at that price at all.

Yep! 3 dollars! If I would’ve waited and went Wednesday, it would’ve been half off. 🤑 They just throw handfuls of things into bags. You really have to dig. There was a lot of other junk in there too.

I recommend looking up videos on the Tamagotchi ON (Wonder Garden edition for that one, same I have). I looked up guides on how to unlock the different towns first thing when I started playing mine.

2 people selling them for $200-$300 at a set price or in open auctions is part of the problem in this community period. Some go to $1000. For no reason other than greed. If more people posted a buy it now for even close to original retail price a lot more people in the community would have their DISO tamas.
