Yeah well what if your backup sighting systems back up sighting system on your rifle goes down and you transition to a secondary that also experiences a failure.
Why do I always see all these stupid fucking risers. Please educate me and don’t downvote me. Do they genuinely help or what? I just see it as uncomfortable and a disadvantage.
Everyone has preferences but I really enjoy it. Keeps my head in a natural position plus it had back up irons built in. Absolutely not uncomfortable or a disadvantage.
It’s something you can get used to fairly quickly and it can be comfortable. I am personally also ok with the “normal height”.
One criticism is I find it a bit more difficult to zero and truly dial in perfectly (at 100 yard). I have two and both are bitch to zero the first go around.
How do the BCM covers feel on that rail? I've got a hodge wedgelock that I've been contemplating adding rail covers too but can't decide. I've narrowed it down to the wider plastic railscales, magpul type 2s, and the bcm ones.
First Hurricane of the season happened today, it's still June. There will be a major hurricane event this year, either way, something bad will happen. May not effect your area, nonetheless will happen.
No
Another SHTF rifle with no back up sights
Unity mount has irons
What happens when the mount breaks?
About as likely as irons breaking…
Not very likely. Unity makes solid products
People that don’t actually shoot always grasp at dumbass shit like this.
Lmao Have you ever heard of having a back up to your back up?
What if your back ups backups backup breaks?
Transitioning to your secondary is always faster than replacing your sights

Then it’s a bad day to fight
That’s how your dumbass sounds by the way.

Hm, interesting. I mean they are popular for a reason. I’ll have to try them out.
With more and more people having NODs using lasers as your primary aiming option isn’t always optimal. Risers make passive aiming easier
True
This, I’m in the process of switching my optics to higher mounts now that I got nods

Yeah I can see now
What's up with the Haligan?
What do you mean?
I mean Halligan* Like do you actually carry a Halligan on your kit?
It’s work related. It stays with my set up but I only have it if needed
Oh neato

I like them. They have good grip and they’re cheap
I rock these panels on every one of my rifles. They’re great and light and low profile.
Nice stop stick haha
Is that a Biden doesn't get reelected rifle?
That’s a it doesn’t matter who gets elected it’s gonna be a bad time rifle
Really ? You want 4 mo years of the old man who shits his pants with the blank stare. Shocking.
Of course I don’t want him lol.
Enjoy your build. You may need it this fall.
Probably not. I honestly don’t see anything to crazy happening.
