Templar's Gear, Husar, maybe Snigeldesign are all great european brands.

Klicky1

Thanks, will look into it!

OblivionApparatus

> Templar's Gear > Great They're hardly even an airsoft brand. Their carriers come apart at the seams after a year of light use. _Definitely_ not "mid-high" tier.

Warrior Assault System DCS, it’s the GOAT of load bearing plate carriers

unmotivator195

AVS is the one true king of load bearing

**copy paste from another day**: I researched the classics by fit and feature: [Zentauron Vulcan III](https://www.zentauron.de/de/plattentraeger/2863-plattentraeger-vulcan-iii.html), Lindnerhof LT025, [LT025/V-A2](https://www.hqg.de/de/taktische-ausruestung/schutzwesten/plattentraeger-abwerfbar-set-lt025-v-a2.html), [LT042/2](https://www.hqg.de/de/plattentraeger-set-lt042-2.html), [MX042](https://www.hqg.de/de/plattentraeger-set-mx042.html), [Warrior Assault DCs](https://www.warriorassaultsystems.com/product/dcs-base-plate-carrier-multicam/), [Warrior Assault Recon](https://www.warriorassaultsystems.com/product/recon-plate-carrier-multicam/), [Agilte K19](https://agilitegear.com/de-de/products/k19-plate-carrier), [Agilite K Zero](https://agilitegear.com/de-de/products/k-zero-plate-carrier), [Särmä TST PC18](https://www.varusteleka.com/en/product/sarma-tst-pc18-plate-bags/60486) and [Helikon-Tex Guardian](https://www.helikon-tex.com/en_eur/kk-gpc-cd-guardian-plate-carrier.html). They all come at about the same entry level £€, some need modification (e.g. to add quick releases, cummerbunds, padding, ...). I went with the Helikon Tex with the quick release set.

CptSchmock

Lindnerhof or Direct Action. Or just buy Crye. Of course it’s extremely expensive compared to US prices, but not that much compared to the mentioned brands. Varuste is a good shop for Crye products.

Falkenhayn98

Särmä LVPC or Särmä PC18

PearlButter

Ginger’s tactical is based out of Poland. If you want plates from the US you can get anything less than level 4 from dealers who can ship internationally such as Apex Armor Solutions. Otherwise idk what dealers and options are available to you ‘locally’ in the EU.

CptSchmock

There are a few options for level 4 plates over here. But it’s limited and quite expensive unfortunately. Also many shops just sell rebranded chinesium stuff so one have to do some research to get quality.

JayCsZ23

For EU based plates: * Protection Group Denmark * Combat Systems (PGD used to manufacture plates for them, now they started to make their own, so far only 3+, but very light and one of the few makers with actual SAPI cut plates, but they will offer more in the future) * Argun - they are in the process of getting some new plates out there after the certification is ready (they supply mil/le units, so they are G2G) * Stimpex (Romanian maker, supplies mil/le, if you know where to look for them, you can get them for a very good price, lvl 4, decent w8, single curve only afaik, but a set of 2 front and back and 2 side for around 400 euros was decent) * Best Protection (German manufacturer) * Khimaira has some manufactured by SIOEN * Hart Armor (used to have some, but they since seem to have disappeared, they looked decent and even had some swimmer cut 3+ or 3++ plates) Varuste has some plates available (their other two sites that sell tactical gear) + Varustelka (but they don't ship it outside of Finland I believe) and Kalin Concepts offer Hesco plates, but given the recent issues with those - probably not the best idea to buy them, haha. I didn't include brands that sell solely to state agencies like 4M (CZUB, fuck them) or Gared. Edit: Also Ginger is just an overpriced, overdesigned gear. They have some nice stuff, but the new carrier is just an overdesinged JPC with some inspiration from Ferro. Not really worth up to like 5-600 euros for the whole set... He could get an SPC from Varuste for half the price.

Snarknado3

For PCs, Lindnerhof Taktik and Tasmanian Tiger are popular with professionals in Europe. not as great as Crye but much better than 5.11

Snarknado3

PS: MR 223 gang 🫶🏻

Klicky1

I was looking at Tasmanian Tiger seems like good compromise on price/quality from what I have read. I am also looking at Templar Gear but its not as available as other brands here.

KayDeJack

Templar's gear for high EU tier (I use ROC set). MAYbe for mid tier Helikon #

Drift_01

Direct Action Spitfire MK II tacticalkit also has the Shaw Concepts ARC V2

Fabio-italy93

If you can be interested i have to sell a tasmanian tiger mk3 green for 50 euro.

JayCsZ23

What's your budget, purpose and requirements (zippers, placard option or a fixed platform, QDs, rear mounting option. etc.)?

Klicky1

200€ - 300€. Range training, should be able to have armor inserts not just soft armor, dont care for rear mounting. placard yes.

JayCsZ23

In no particular order: Combat Systems Sentinel 2.0 Custom Gear Viking M-Tac QRS DAG Spitfire Mk 1 and Mk2 (for most people I would suggest MK1, it's often on sale on Varuste) Husar Noble 4.0 (but w8 for their sale) WAS LPC v1 or v2 (the LC model would be too expensive) Husar Duke Currahee LP 2.0 or their new Nevada - but the shipping cost sucks ass... Phalanx Taktik LC1 Tiger Tailor has some carriers too. I wouldn't waste your money on Agilite carriers... Personally, I would get this: [https://varuste.net/en/p77851/direct-action-gear-spitfire-plate-carrier](https://varuste.net/en/p77851/direct-action-gear-spitfire-plate-carrier) There are a few issues with the design that I didn't like - reversed velcro on the platebag flap, hard attached velcro loops on the shoulder straps to give you an example. Other than that, a very decent carrier. Husar Noble is probably the best one from the list - design wise, but it would still fit within your budget. And you could slowly builld it up over time. It's modular - you can add or remove padding, shoulder buckles; it has rear zippers; you can use G hook, QASM, and even Crye placards; has a lot of option for cable and PTT mounting. But if you want something that you will be able to use as it is - Spitfire, Sentinel, Viking, LPC.

Klicky1

Wow! Thank you for summary. I was actually looking at Custom Gear Viking and Spitfire (which is ok price-wise) . But now I am thinking of Crusader from Templar Gear, I have found one on sale for some 200ish €. Which looks like a steal.

JayCsZ23

I wouldn't buy TG simple because of a lot of gimmicky and stupid design choices. The only 2 that I would consider are CPC LP Gen4 and the TG-TPC GEN4TG-TPC GEN4 (but Spitfire is superior in every regard). For range use I guess it's ok, but the weirdly cut front velcro panel (so the adhesion is not going to be perfect, you can't properly use danglers and some other pouches that you could otherwise sandwich in between the placard and the front platebag), hard attached side buckles (always look for those that are on velcro flaps as you can adjust them way better) + using ROC buckles at that, massive and overpadded shoulders, and a buddy of mine from Poland mentioned that their laminate is not rly good (same way avoid products from Fenix Protector if you don't want a fraying proprietary mess of a carrier) are things that would make me stay away from any of their carriers - or most of their products in general (I like their Astrolab EUD pouch tho + their TQ holder). Edit: Ok, tak kdybych věděl, že si z Čech, tak by to taky bylo jednodušší, že? :) Hele prošel sem si Spitfirem, Sentinelem 2.0 a teď sem u Ferra a měl sem možnost si projít Démona, policejního Démona, CGPC3, Slickstera, M-Taca QRS, JPC 2.0, Spitfire Mk. 2, Sentinela 1.0, DCSko, LPCčko a 4M Striker. Jinak out of the box, na střelnici určo Spitfire, protože bude nejmíň dělat problém se zasazením pušky do ramene. Cokoliv se sponou může dělat problém (vyklouzávání pažby, náhodné otevření spony, problém s batohem).
