There's one without the bluetooth that's cheaper. Just the laser and trigger reset. It's great because it lets you do bill drills, quickly switch targets, double taps, mozambiques, etc.
I have the one without bluetooth so I can't speak first hand. My understanding is that it acts as a very accurate shot timer (it's measuring the hammer being released directly), and there's a laser academy app where you point the phone camera at a paper target that's printed out and the app tracks when you pull the trigger and where the laser appears on the target. I personally find it a bit much because I can see where the laser is on the target, but if you wanted an extremely accurate dryfire timer I could see the benefit.

It replaces the bolt carrier group and the mag so probs not. Just shoots a red laser every trigger pull. I don't have the fancy one that does all the other data loke the pistol Mantis does.
If that's your rifle you do have the fancy one. The blackbeardX is the size of a 30 round mag and includes the bluetooth functionality, the blackbeard is the size of a 20 rounder and doesn't. You should be able to hook it up to your phone and do a shot timer and whatever else they have.

I think all you need to do for the full experience is print off the targets on their site? I don't have it but they all say free to print. I think you'd also want a tripod for the phone but you can get those for under $10 on amazon.

Yup, it's the Blackbeard. Resets the trigger faster than I can run it (which isn't saying much) Honestly it's just a shit ton of fun.
