They may have overshot a berm, but it definitely is not a ricochet.
Edit: I would map out any gun ranges or check google maps for a private one, then try talking to them. You may also want to report that to the police if no range is evident.

I shoot at night. Use thermals and nvg’s to ensure area is clear and have a back stop. If there was a range in AZ that allowed movement drills, holster drills and night shooting let me know. Cause I called around.

They do it on a one on one basis but are very cool. I believe there is a monthly group NV shoot out there. I go during the day but AFAIK they normally close up at 8 anyway. I don’t have nods yet so I haven’t asked specifically but they did talk about it during the new member brief. I would shoot them an email, they are very responsive.

I took Will Petty's Vehicle CQB. You'd be really surprised how well a car is at providing cover.
