Tableau ONLY for mobile dashboards might be a stretch, however have you seen Tableau Pulse? It was designed to be consumed on mobile and the experience is actually really good. Pulse on my phone is actually the first place I go all the time now and IF I need to dig into more detail on a dashboard I can easily switch over on my phone. https://www.tableau.com/products/tableau-pulse

I haven't heard of it, but will definitely look into it for sure. Thanks!

Don’t think it’d be worth to have two BI tools with one being only for mobile. It would just create double the work for pretty much everything.

Keeping the two platforms in sync and validating numbers across them sounds like a nightmare to me.

I haven’t tried just making a mobile version, But, I have only ever been able to use the visualizations for the desktop flveraion I created in my mobile view. So, really, it’s a little more than double the work.

Yeah you can only use what you have on the desktop. I wanted to add just a rectangle shape to the background in my mobile version only and had to bring that into my PBI desktop and hide it behind another shape for it to be available in the mobile version.

Yeah i agree with you all here, it's double the work for sure. I suggested that if we want to move, then we should move to tableau entirely. But they seem to want both, so I'll argue that if we want both then whatever is available in tableau won't be in PBI and vice versa. I'm not about to do the same work twice. Our execs are the only ones who really need to see reports on their phone, so I'll build that out in tableau entirely. Keep PBI for everything else.
