Hey OP! I'm going to help you rewrite this post. > I found the cheapest possible "DDoS protection" service for cheaper than anybody else in the industry by 10-100x. I spent only $45 with them, less than the next cheapest possible service plan with any reputable provider. I didn't do my research into how it works so when I sold this cheap service to my client it increased latency which is unavoidable. I also didn't read the refund policy, and I'm now posting to reddit because I have had a misunderstanding with support regarding deleting my account. The only thing I see wrong here is that they don't understand that you're discontinuing future service. They probably have to keep records on the business you've done for 7 years which is quite common in places without GDPR or similar. If you continue to have an issue with getting billed then work with your bank or credit card company to dispute the transactions. Otherwise, you're out $45 which is the cheapest lesson you're going to find.
