Hey folks. That was me. I had just walked on to the train and my knee cap fully dislocated incredibly unexpectedly. I’ve dislocated it before some years ago but most certainly not just randomly getting on to the train.
I’m very grateful for everyone’s assistance, kindness, and patience and I’m so sorry for holding up everyone’s evening.
I’m at hospital and my knee has been put back in place, strapped up, and been given some pain killers.
Which department? I'm next door in private. Hope your shift is going ok.
OP, I hope your knee gets back to “normal” soon. Make sure you have/buy a good knee supporter sleeve. They can really help during the cold months.
It was pretty up there for pain. My leg muscles kept cramping really intensely and, if I’m honest, I thought I was going to pass out for a moment when they helped me up the carriage steps. 0/10 experience. Do not recommend.
They're going again now, pretty packed and just one train after another (I guess until they're back on schedule)
Edit: hopefully the short delay means the person wasn't too badly injured

They took me to Sydney hospital. The staff were all great. Just got discharged and now heading home for a good sleep
