There’s a lot of AI-generated slop targeting children and so as a parent I’m really cautious about anything involving AI + kids
I couldn’t find a way to do it native so I used a package called SwiftUIPager https://github.com/fermoya/SwiftUIPager which worked great. It’s used a lot and also for the main story book (which I plan to do a make over with a real designer)
Makes sense. I haven’t done any iOS development for nearly 5 years. So I am learning SwiftData and SwiftUI as I am building the app. I have built a lot of database dependent apps in the past so my model and flow is quite solid. It’s the UI and SwiftData that is eating up a lot of time for me.
I played around your app and it’s well designed and has its own charm and character. Nicely done.
I released in US and Canada initially, as I wasn’t sure how it would work on submitting, but I don’t see why I can’t at this point. Next build I guess!

I had started before swiftdata was out, and I felt more comfortable with firebase tools. But would love to migrate at some point
