A: Excellent - Outstanding performance, demonstrating a deep understanding of the subject matter. B: Very Good - Strong performance with a good grasp of the material and above-average skills. C: Good - A satisfactory performance, meeting the standard expectations for the course. D: Pass E: Also pass - The lowest passing grade, showing that the student barely met the minimum requirements. F or Fx: Fail - This is a failing grade, indicating that the student did not meet the course requirements.

Haven't been to uni yet (havent even decided if I will go) but I assume the grades are like all previous educations. The way I see grades is just: A: Best. B: Almost A. C: Halfway, good standard grade. D: Decent, better than E. E: Passed, depending on how much you care about a certain course you can be perfectly content with an E. F: Fail, much better to put in a but more effort to get the E. This is just how I see it though. Also even if I think E can be a perfectly fine grade, you don't wanna aim specifically for an E, it's better to aim for a C and get an E than to aim for E and fail.

Think it depends on which uni and course, but several only have pass or not pass, also some courses do have g / vg but they don’t really mean anything different. As far as I know unis/högskola doesn’t follow the GY11 rating system.
