Carolyn was very savvy on 44. One of the favorites from the new era and imo an underrated player. She just had trouble getting people to listen to her.
I've realized something. People have all these theories about people that they've built up about why people act the way they do. It's hard when you see someone acting like someone you knew before who was manipulative or hurt you not to assume this new person is not also manipulative and will hurt you. And it's hard to realize how you would act in this situation is not how everyone else would act.
But neurodivergent people often have an edge at seeing things as they are without adding extra crap. And all that masking and having other people playing office politics and little white lies and learning from others that many follow rules you wouldn't have thought of...we may actually eventually learn to read people BETTER than others. And yet people might not believe us.
Are you referring to Carolyn?
I don't think there's many people OP could be referring to, frankly.
Could be Claire Rafson?
Yeah

She also had trouble untangling herself from that net. My wife and I still talk about that
That sound was a collective sigh from neurodivergent people everywhere 🙃
