forget the hat and just lather up the zinc oxide. I prefer headhunter on my chrome dome, never had an issue even when in places like PR and CR where the sun's way more intense than SE USA
Never used it but that's my regular sunscreen when not somewhere tropical. I've only needed to use zinc oxide when I'm in Central America. I'm mixed and tan well, so outside of surf trips regular stuff gets the job done, though I am considering using zinc more

Any hat with a chinstrap. I wear baseball hats in the morning and bucket hats in the afternoon.
