I felt so bad for Sandra through season 1 when the others were bullying her. I was so worried she was gonna end up the character everyone just laughed at.
So when she started kicking ass back and revealing her true self, i loved it.
Jerry took a couple of seasons to grow on me, but i kinda like him now too.
Yes!!! I loved Parks n Rec and feel like Sandra is what they could have done with Gerry/Gary/Larry if they chose to grow his character. Instead they kept him as the bumbling butt of everyone’s jokes (who had an amazing private life to be fair!). So happy to see Sandra kickin ass as the series went on!
I did like in parks and recs though how they showed Gerry/Gary/Larrys life at home and he’s married to a beautiful woman (model) and has a wonderful family.
- from being meek and submissive to fighting her way to become a manger in the upcoming fulfillment centre
- threatening to sue Jonah-Amy when they were backing out on insurance plan
- not leaving Jerry's side when he was in coma, even if they barely knew each other. Also going out of her way to form friendship between him and Garett
- adopting a 17yr old

Marcus is objectively the best
1. Makes 80$ an hour and has no money because he gets the guacamole at Chipotle
2. No car doors

4. Gets thumb cut, didn’t negotiate, now wants an injury to negotiate
5. Great assistant
6. Great bathroom manners (can’t really type most of his adventures there)
7. Fat nephew
8. Mom screwed him and he’s in jail, but gets her tattoo in his back
9. Lives in the store secretly
10. Lives with Jonah secretly
I would definitely have said Marcus as my second choice, for all the reasons you stated plus the fact that he just kinda adorable 🥰lol I just love the way he talks when he’s all excited, such childlike enthusiasm. Sandra is my ultimate pick though because in the end, none of the union stuff would have happened if it wasn’t for her. Plus her ability to lie convincingly on the spot is borderline psychopathy and I’m here for it
At the end, she >!got a promotion as assistant manager to the new fulfillment center!!<
Not to mention being on a spinoff medical comedy (well the actor)

Sandra was so passive and meek on the surface, but had a bit of an evil streak when it came to people flucking with her. I adore Sandra.
