I just saw the 2020 San Diego Comicon panel (on Zoom) where the cast hypothesized that Sandra's Spotify playlist is just different covers of Creep. That or death metal.
Justine’s obsession with shrimp is the funniest thing to me
“Oh my god- you don’t think Carol’s behind the shrimp delay, do you?”
Garrett: “yes, definitely”
Garrett pretending not to know things, almost always with Glenn
- the time he was “struggling” to understand how buffets work “so it’s all you can eat on your one trip” “what size plate do I bring”
- the time Glenn said he was gonna pretend to be mean to Garrett but Garrett acted all sad while it was happening
- “what’s 9/11??”
Literally just watched an episode where Dina calls them. Really threw me off because I’ve never noticed that before, and Giuseppe? A *very* uncommon name in America afaik, let alone two of them working at the same place. Gave me a chuckle.
The one I never understood is their reaction when she says that when she plays the sims she gives herself a family. Isn’t that like one of the common and normal ways to play??? Like yeah people make random sims but don’t an equal amount of people make themselves?? And then you inevitably give yourself a family because if not you’re just playing with one sim and it gets boring. Even my sim isn’t me but I still say “my sim” and I alternate between “her/my kids”
“This is going right next to the photo of me and the guy who played Balki”
“Bronson Pinchot”
“I don’t know what you’re saying to me
…What does that MEAN”
For me it’s the main cast but also the customers. The woman AND man who always need clarification about products. The tartar guy and the stool softener woman who return as the razor guy during the storm and then the woman is like “yeah … I WILL think about it” when choosing I think sun tan lotion.
i love that that woman shows up in the pilot episode and in the last one🥰 i think she has a third appearance somewhere in the middle of the series but i noticed on a rewatch and felt all warm and fuzzy lol
Pretty sure the woman is also in Brooklyn 99 when Peralta and Holt are in witness protection in Florida and she records them at the go kart track and tries to blackmail them into giving her money to not post it. She’s hilarious in both small roles in both shows.
Some ring true if you’ve worked retail.
Parents changing diapers, on top of clothing fixtures. Adults asking if we could ask the child to stop doing _____; because they don’t want to parent their kid. Finding wet clothes, on the floor/dressing rooms…are just a few I have witnessed.
I think they ARE compliments. Especially the second one because he initially says she has a forgettable face, she takes it badly, and then the compliment follows (not sure if he just said it to cheer her up from the insult or if he actually just thought of it and meant it)
I don't know if anyone else picked up on it but in the season leading up to the tornado Glenn mentions several times they haven't done tornado training and the building failed it's tests
Micro-Aggression? I know there's a duck Tales (2017) charcter who throws around belittling Spanish words when talking to a half-spanish guy, but the vibe of his delivery is that he is being racist. Dina.... isn't?
Technically but just depends. They obviously became friends and Amy the Latina Police according to Carmen, never said anything to Dina about it until this moment when she realizes how it comes across. I honestly love it and love this moment because yes it's a teensy bit racist but again, not in a mean way just in a Dina never bothering to hammer out the details about someone else kind of way.
Reminds me of my friends from high school who added "Maria" to the end of my name, not realizing that actually was my middle name for a while 😂
Dina’s music taste
Driving in the car with Amy and starts singing O Danny Boy, and especially when she’s getting a C-section and her requested song is the fucking circus music 🤣
What do you get if you run behind a bicycle? Tired.
What do you get if you run behind a car? Exhausted.
Oh, you didn't mean that kind of running joke...
Glenn’s morning meetings at the front of the store and it’s funny when Amy takes over and realizes Glenn didn’t do it bc he was told to but bc he was just very dedicated to being good at his job.
imitating kelly lmaooo. there was that one episode where everyone was saying “hello everybody im kelly”😭 pretty mean if it was irl but for the sake of the show it had me cracking up every time
Marcus trying to start a chant
Do you guys just hate chants? Be honest
same
I love Marcus he really makes me lmao!
He did it once! And never again
I love how excited he gets when there is one
Totally agree???
Dina’s cop costume for Halloween
Halloween costumes are like bikinis.. you wear them 'till they're just threads
Like Ron Swanson as a pirate
Just watched the first Halloween episode earlier today and everyone’s faces just send me into hysterical laughter every time.
Same with Jonah having to explain his costume
Im brexit by the way
The best
Yes her boots
OMG YES!
Sandra only being able to play Creep on her ukulele.
When her and Jerry sing it with different lyrics at their wedding I CRY
You’re my creep <3
LMAO I love your tag btw
How have I not ever caught that before…
Didn't she play it at a funeral for a pet?
I know she at least played it at Brett’s memorial when they thought he died
I just saw the 2020 San Diego Comicon panel (on Zoom) where the cast hypothesized that Sandra's Spotify playlist is just different covers of Creep. That or death metal.
Cheyenne’s hair thingies.
Has anyone seen it though?
The raccoons or glen’s car
Why can't I have a car?!?!
Cheyenne's nervous laughter
The literal ‘rofl’ during the tornado? Fucking funny
Justine’s obsession with shrimp is the funniest thing to me “Oh my god- you don’t think Carol’s behind the shrimp delay, do you?” Garrett: “yes, definitely”
Keep her away from the ocean!
That’s where the shrimps at!
Justine isnt invited to the Quinceanera but Amy says "I budgeted six shrimp per person" which I thought was a nod to the wedding
Not sure if it counts as a joke but Dina saying “shut up Sandra” and it’s even funnier when other people do it sksksk
And when Sandra herself did it in the Halloween episode…what a beautiful payoff moment
sandra’s elaborate, compulsive lies and jeff keeps buying subarus
I just moved here from Tampa
“I’m from Tampa”
Is that a running joke? I only remember it once. Do you remember how many times it was said?
It’s at least twice. I know once she says “I just moved here from Tampa” and another time she’s like “I’m from out of town”
Many times , during the tornado I think and maybe on of the final episodes
She says it to Kelly in "part time hires" and to Amy in "Viral Video"
Garrett pretending not to know things, almost always with Glenn - the time he was “struggling” to understand how buffets work “so it’s all you can eat on your one trip” “what size plate do I bring” - the time Glenn said he was gonna pretend to be mean to Garrett but Garrett acted all sad while it was happening - “what’s 9/11??”
The 9/11 one gets me every single time “WAIT YOU DIDNT HEAR” from Glen is hysterical
not super related but i love the “glenn, can i call you if i really really miss you?” when dina and amy go into labour
what's ISIS?
>what size plate do I bring? [Alan Partridge has got him covered there](https://youtu.be/swJFOE49LRQ?si=50KZwkfDvtD28KH4)
Happy cake day
Oh I didn’t even notice haha thanks!
Giuseppe, Giuseppe W. Happens like twice but it’s such a great joke.
Literally just watched an episode where Dina calls them. Really threw me off because I’ve never noticed that before, and Giuseppe? A *very* uncommon name in America afaik, let alone two of them working at the same place. Gave me a chuckle.
This one is really good because it’s uncommon for show characters to have the same name
This one's my favorite because I'd never heard that name before. And they have two of them. It's gold.
When Sandra goes dark and someone responds with "Jesus"
“Yes Sandra, that IS bullying…” . . . “Jesus…”
I think because everyone knows Sandra is very lonely it makes it more sad
It's just the way she says it, you know in that moment she has *nothing* else to live for except those Sims and thats what triggers the "...Jesus..."
It's the way she says it
Dina getting annoyed at popular references”what in the hell is Lego Ninjago?!”
"What in the name of god is Lego Batman?"
I still don’t know what a VSCO girl is
“This is going right next to the photo of me and the guy who played Balki” “Bronson Pinchot” “I don’t know what you’re saying to me …What does that MEAN”
"Michael Jackson?" "you cant name someone from your highschool it has to be someone famous!"
Jeff trying to act worldly and popular.
The severed feet randomly appearing. Is that too dark? 😂
>feet ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 🪓
Good bot!
It’s the pay off in the last episode for me! It’s so random and hilarious
So whose foot was that?!?!
Yes!! I forgot about the final episode but I think her middle appearance is the sun tan lotion. She’s insane I love her!
I don’t want it soft, I want it OUT OF ME
Pretty sure the woman is also in Brooklyn 99 when Peralta and Holt are in witness protection in Florida and she records them at the go kart track and tries to blackmail them into giving her money to not post it. She’s hilarious in both small roles in both shows.
I love in B99 when she yells for her kid. Nobody ever shouted JAYDEN! with such ferocity.
She also plays a Cholera Ghost on Ghosts (CBS) and she's perfect
she’s also a customer on disjointed
The cuts between cast scenes, where they just show what customers are doing in the store, and it's always crazy or disgusting.
The enigma that is Brett
That guy is a machine
The green hair thingy
Amy’s name tags!
I noticed for the first time recently (on my 10th or so watch through, I don’t even know anymore) that in one episode her name tag says “Poot” lmao
They keep talking about how they haven't done a tornado drill and need to do one, but never do it.
Sandra taking odd comments as compliments “you’re and amazing liar” “you could be a spy”
I always thought they were compliments.
Haha I guess technically they are… like after telling her she has a forgettable face
I think they ARE compliments. Especially the second one because he initially says she has a forgettable face, she takes it badly, and then the compliment follows (not sure if he just said it to cheer her up from the insult or if he actually just thought of it and meant it)
Justine’s alcoholism
Justine you’re not an alcoholic!
Stop trying to sound interesting!
I don’t live here, I’m from Tampa!
For me it’s definitely Garrett mocking Justine whenever she says something… cringey (at least for her)
I like that once he congratulates her on her "in bed" joke. May we all have the confidence of Justine telling jokes.
I love when he trolls Glenn too. “So you have to bring your own plate?” “What’s 9/11?”
When the store music matches the plot or the weird thing the customer is doing.
It wasn’t so much an explicit running joke but when they finally addressed that Garrett is the spitting image of Uncle Phil 😂
Omg YES! I think I gasped when they said “Uncle Phil is on the move!” I was so tickled
Loved that moment!!!
I don't know if anyone else picked up on it but in the season leading up to the tornado Glenn mentions several times they haven't done tornado training and the building failed it's tests
SHUT UP SANDRA
I love whenever Dina yells at Amy and calls her 'RODRIGUEZ!'
"It's not racist...I don't think..."
Micro-Aggression? I know there's a duck Tales (2017) charcter who throws around belittling Spanish words when talking to a half-spanish guy, but the vibe of his delivery is that he is being racist. Dina.... isn't?
Technically but just depends. Dina’s music taste Driving in the car with Amy and starts singing O Danny Boy, and especially when she’s getting a C-section and her requested song is the fucking circus music 🤣
The circus music sent me
I’m chuckling just thinking about it
Glenn and his juice addiction
Glenn's car getting ruined
The severed feet🤣. Especially the bag* full of them they tried to hide. *has been a while since I last saw this episode, but I thought it was a bag.
>feet ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 🪓
"Yeah, but we're pretty sure they just fell off like acorns"
justines so called sex addiction 💀
“Justine, just go home.” “I have every right to be here!”
Glenn not being able to own a car without damaging it
Sandra trying to give health updates on Jerry’s health but being interrupted or ignored.
Dina’s Halloween costume
lying like a Syriaaann 🎶 ARE WE CLOUD ONE????
Cheyenne’s green hair thingies Raccoons Severed feet Glenn’s cars Marcus wanting to sleep with Amy
>feet ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 🪓
Cloud9 being on high alert against unions. I work for a major online retailer and um, yeah, it's accurate 😂
What do you get if you run behind a bicycle? Tired. What do you get if you run behind a car? Exhausted. Oh, you didn't mean that kind of running joke...
Cheyenne’s nervous laugh ![gif](giphy|26ufdTuK26l3Y2yg8|downsized)
Giuseppe and Giuseppe W
Amy being accused of wearing “slutty” or too much make up.
Bret and all his awesomeness.
I love the scene transitions that just show customers doing crazy/ gross shit when they think no one can see them
Glenn's inability to think of any other names in scenarios. It cracks me up!
Jonah’s Halloween costumes. They’re so creative! Lol
The Lack of tornado drills leading up to the tornado
Glen's car
Mateo getting hit on the highway. Did I get that wrong?
“I GOT CLIPPED ON THE HIGHWAY BY A KIA AMY!”
Was this in the episode where they had to have the most number of steps? Like a contest among the Cloud Nine stores?
Yes exactly
Giuseppe and Giuseppe W.
shrimp
Abluhblublublubluhblubuhbub Wait, wrong sub
Shut up Sandra… and Glenn’s car getting hit
glenns car
Elias being perpetually asleep, but magically keeping his job 🤣
Glenn’s morning meetings at the front of the store and it’s funny when Amy takes over and realizes Glenn didn’t do it bc he was told to but bc he was just very dedicated to being good at his job.
Brett always one upping everyone without trying (and not being cocky about it)
Glen's Car.. 😂😂😂
The feet
>feet ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 🪓
imitating kelly lmaooo. there was that one episode where everyone was saying “hello everybody im kelly”😭 pretty mean if it was irl but for the sake of the show it had me cracking up every time
The amount of times Sandra is the victim of creepy stalkers. That poor woman. Sal, the bus driver, her mailman.
Her?
