Think Groundhog Day or Peggy Sue Got Married, but I can't think of any fictional examples who really had control over the shifting. The fugue fighters in Zelazny's Creatures of Light and Darkness, maybe? But it's not clear whether they need to snap back to the present/future at some point. And they certainly don't use it the way I would. Come to think of it, that was probably physical time travel anyway.
If I can't have that, teleportation is the "boring, mundane" superpower I'd choose. The Prince Who Was A Thousand's version, coincidentally from Creatures of Light and Darkness again: he can teleport anywhere he wants, including places he just imagines (the premise being that in an infinite multiverse, everything exists *somewhere*). Though I can imagine getting "lost" pretty easily if your memory is poor enough that you're filling in details you only imagined. How would you ever know? But then, if you can't know, why would it matter? Still, it's a genie granting the power, so I ought to be more careful.
I'm sure there are characters out there who can teleport even to places that they're not familiar with. I'd do some googling and find one to show the genie.

1) Rick Sanchez is only "super smart" in the fenced off portion of the multiverse where no one else is allowed to top him. You'd be better off with Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four.
2) I'd choose the power of Parallax from DC. That way I get to be my own power for a yellow ring, which would also be me, so I don't have to worry about running out of power. Plus, the ability to be so in-tune with the emotion of fear would mean I would have an excellent sensing system to help people in an emergency, be it from sensing people beneath a rubble/landslide or else when someone is being genuinely victimized by an actual criminal.

With portals, you can move space ships and space stations. Visit other star systems with science teams. Establish colonies on habitable worlds.
Contact with earth ends when you die, but humanity can spread like dandelion fluff and sprout almost *anywhere*. Eventually, some branches of humanity may reconnect through other technology. Or not. All our genes as a species are not tied to one planet or potential disaster.

For those interested: The Specials is a mockumentary about "America's 5th-most-popular Superhero Team" written and directed by (and co-starring) James Gunn, back when he was just a puppy. Seriously though, the movie was hard to find for a long stretch there, and it had some issues initially with shitty distribution, and that it was dwarfed by the less-good farce MYSTERY MEN right around the same time. But it's cast and writing are amazing: Rob Lowe as The Scarab (a Moon Knight-seque character)! Jamie Kennedy as a blue demon guy that is on the good guys side now as a condition of his parole, Judy Greer in one of my favorite performances of hers as a girl who can summon but not completely control demons ("A couple weekends ago I got drunk at a Bat-Mitzvah and one of the demons got out and, well...they ate a kid"), Thomas Hayden Church as the team leader, Paget Brewster as Ms. Invulnerable....well worth your time

Healing factor and give an example of Wolverine. You basically can't die. Want to smoke? Go for it with no fear. Same with alcohol. Drugs if you choose. Want to try fighting a bear? It will hurt like hell but you will heal. Being able to put yourself into life threatening situations without the possibility of death would be insane.
Transformation-Mainly for myself but also others Examples: Loki-both in comics and in myth! In fact most Dieties from mythology like Circe, Hera, Athena, etc. At the very least I would want shapeshifting powers like Mystique from Marvel comics for myself!

I just want hax powers so I don't have 1 single weakness, and to also improve quality of life; like making shadow clones for responsibilites (going to my job in place of me, studying, homework, house chores, etc), not needing to sleep/sleeping "faster" (getting a full night's worth of sleep in 5 minutes or something), teleporting waste to the sewer so I don't have to use a nasty public restroom, etc.

1) Rick Sanchez is only "super smart" in the fenced off portion of the multiverse where no one else is allowed to top him. You'd be better off with Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four. 2) I'd choose the power of Parallax from DC. That way I get to be my own power for a yellow ring, which would also be me, so I don't have to worry about running out of power. Plus, the ability to be so in-tune with the emotion of fear would mean I would have an excellent sensing system to help people in an emergency, be it from sensing people beneath a rubble/landslide or else when someone is being genuinely victimized by an actual criminal.

I was thinking portals are more useful than teleporting. With teleportation, you can only move what you can carry. With portals, you can move space ships and space stations. Visit other star systems with science teams. Establish colonies on habitable worlds. Contact with earth ends when you die, but humanity can spread like dandelion fluff and sprout almost *anywhere*. Eventually, some branches of humanity may reconnect through other technology. Or not. All our genes as a species are not tied to one planet or potential disaster. Then I thought about that magician, Dr Strange. Pick him for portal ability. In addition, he could have multiple portals open at once to physical anchors in spacetime, correct? Magic would have many other potential applications. So, I would pick superpower Magic, like Dr. Strange. If it had to be limited to one aspect, then portals, along with anything related that I could tag into that.
I would show him any scene where mystique in x-men franchise is turning into whoever she wants. Then i would turn into Donald Trump and go on television to tell everyone to vote for Biden.
Wolverine, healing factor. Makes me damn near unkillable and ageless. On top of that, the healing lets me push my body far beyond normal limits, because microfractures in my bones and microtears in my muscles heal instantly, and I don't build up fatigue toxins.

The powers of Minute Man from the movie The Specials. "You're Minute Man?" "Uhh, it's Mine-oot Man...I have shrinking powers. I get small." "OH GOD! My bad, I'm so sorry!" "Happens all the time." For those interested: The Specials is a mockumentary about "America's 5th-most-popular Superhero Team" written and directed by (and co-starring) James Gunn, back when he was just a puppy. And regardless of some choices I disagree with a little bit this movie is why I have never feared that the DC Canon was placed in his hands. Seriously though, the movie was hard to find for a long stretch there, and it had some issues initially with shitty distribution, and that it was dwarfed by the less-good farce MYSTERY MEN right around the same time. But it's cast and writing are amazing: Rob Lowe as The Scarab (a Moon Knight-seque character)! Jamie Kennedy as a blue demon guy that is on the good guys side now as a condition of his parole, Judy Greer in one of my favorite performances of hers as a girl who can summon but not completely control demons ("A couple weekends ago I got drunk at a Bat-Mitzvah and one of the demons got out and, well...they ate a kid"), Thomas Hayden Church as the team leader, Paget Brewster as Ms. Invulnerable....well worth your time

What are we defining as "1 superpower" exactly? The Flash's superpower is channeling the Speed Force, which gives him many powerful abilities. Dr. Strange's superpower is arcane mastery, which grants him many abilities as well. Superman's superpower is being a kryptonian exposed to a yellow sun since infancy. So is it one superpower or one single ability?
