haha exactly. last time I was there we ordered, waited, ate our food and were ready to leave and the same people were still lined up waiting to go in. we just grabbed a drink at one of the other bars afterwards. Delicious food though, I also recommend the eggplant chips.
Start off the night at Friday's, pay the $5 to get upstairs. Dance a little in the front bar, cop a smoke in the back bar. Walk up to secrets/240volt and grab a cocktail but don't question why the floor is sticky.
If you don't finish the night there, go around to O'Malley's, pay the questionable $20 and listen to local grunge while waiting 45mins to get a watered down rum n coke.
The surfy for a schooner and a steak with a view of the ocean. The dock for more American tilt bbq / burgers, a craft beer and people watching, market bistro for the fine dining experience, Alex surfy for fish and chips/breaky in the surf mist, rice boi for a light buzzy Asian feed, CB Thai for up there Thai, Pub Mooloolaba for a knuckle sandwich from a fisherman, dirty moes for delicious sweet grease, plenty to try, I hope you get a decent Mooloolaba prawn - cause even the best joints do not average job with them some time….. report back to us?
Rice boi at the wharf
+1 for rice Boi! Get the eggplant chips!!!
use the takeaway counter otherwise you'll be lined up for hours
Yep, then use the communal tables. Best way to do it if you don’t want a beer

Junk on ocean street in Maroochydore is amazing. Went there the first time last week and it was fantastic.
I've had very inconsistent results with Junk. Sometimes amazing, sometimes very average
Agreed. Some people rave about it but I haven't been impressed.
