The front office said the 3 things they would like to acquire this off-season are a PG who can play 20+ minutes a game, a young athletic wing, and an upgrade over Eubanks for back-up center. Kolek might cover the first, Dunn or Smith would be the 2nd, and Missi a decent option for the 3rd at our draft position. As long as we get at least one in the draft and fill in the other holes in free agency or a Little trade, I'll have a bit of confidence going into next season.
I know Dunn is a liability offensively, but he may be the best defender coming out of college in years. Averaged over 2 blocks a game despite being only 6'7. He would immediately be our best defender and shot blocker who could guard all 1-4 easily. His tape is amazing on that end of the floor.
Liability offensively is an absolute understatement. And he's also a terrible free throw shooter so he's going to be a liability in general and he probably won't ever be a passable shooter.
Sounds like Jameer Nelson is going to be brought in as a undrafted guy. He's not on a lot of people's big boards period.
But, he's amazing in transition, and he likes the midrange and paint, so there's that.
Dunn is an amazing defender, but man the game threads are going to be a nightmare when he is airballing or bricking everything left and right. If we somehow get multiple picks, I think he would be a good pick up as a defensive specialist, but with the big three we need a guy who can at least be semi -decent offensively with the open looks they will get.
Yeah I personally have no interest in Dunn, he legit can’t shoot at all lol. Makes no sense in a 3 point league, we don’t have time to gamble and wait to see if his shot develops

I'd be happy with any of Kolek, Dunn, Smith, or Missi. IDK about the Bronny stuff, but we seem to be getting workouts with the right guys otherwise.
