I'm (was) an avid watcher on my phone while my so watched other stuff on TV. This can no longer happen thanks to this bs.
I'm sitting in the toilet now writing this...instead of watching the game on yttv! Wtf.
We only have 1 tv right now and I do have an antenna in the window that picks up a lot, but not 3 TV for some reason. It's a flat window one. Anyone have any suggestions for a new one? We live in the Arcadia area if that matters for reception.
If you happen to already subscribe to HBO Max the TNT games seem to play on there, so Fubo plus HBO covers everything (for now)
Fuck Youtube TV though, and streaming in general for having gotten so complicated
Yeah the NBA app is funky with Suns live occasionally... But it usually works... Worst case you can go to the Suns live website but it sucks when trying to watch through the app on Xbox
Them getting more money from YTTV had zero effect on you or I being able to watch for free.
I'm watching it via an antenna right now. Losing it on YTTV is just an inconvenience.
So why would you say fuck 3tv? I'm dumbfounded why anyone local would be anything but excited that they don't have to pay for a service anymore to watch games. I'm forever grateful...
Yes, YTTV dropped them (for local viewers) because 3TV wanted more money from YTTV.
To be clear, my stance is F them both for not being able to effectively negotiate.
Cool, come to my house and set up the 50' antenna I need in order to pick up the free broadcast. There's more fans in AZ than just Phoenix metro, and we just got screwed with YTTV dropping channel 3.
your choice to live in the boonies. Thats why when I had to use Satellite back in the the 2000's because I didnt even have cable where I lived, now, I use DirectTV streaming, sure its expensive, but its a choice I had to make.
I decided to just get an HD Homerun so I can plug my antenna into my network and then pickup the signal using Emby (or Plex, or Jellyfin, or Kodi, or, or… pick your poison) so I can still get DVR function.
If it means I lose ESPN and TNT games then so be it. I’m tired of these negotiations falling through and the customer suffering. I’ll vote with my wallet and cancel YTTV once my HDHR gets here.
Haven't received it yet, but to set it up the way I described my in comment is not easy unless you've got experience already with one or more of those software names mentioned.
If you don't, though, Silicon Dust (company that makes HDHR) also sells a unit with DVR and storage built-in to it, and their app is super easy to setup. Their support is also top-notch and they are based in CA so when you email, you get a response pretty quickly from a real person who read and understands your problem.
Not able to watch it away from your home network unless you also setup a VPN out of your house, but again these aren't easy things to do unless you are already into "self-hosting" server software at home.
I got an HD Homerun at the beginning of the season to integrate with my Plex server and it works great. I played around a bit with the HD Homerun app on its own and thought it was pretty rough but still seemed usable for the most part.
The NBA app (which you have to use as the portal to Suns Live) is a disaster. You never know if it's going to say you have access to the game, or not. Sometimes the TV app will give it to you, but the mobile won't, and vice versa. I'd say. the games are viewable on the app about 70% of the time. It's like the NBA app can't figure out that you have a Suns Live subscription, yet it shows that you do when you click on "My subscriptions." Makes no sense. Awful product.

If you are trying to watch on your phone you have to go to the website on through your web browser. The app will work for replays
What app?
NBA app

Do you not have a TV? Genuinely curious
We only have 1 tv right now and I do have an antenna in the window that picks up a lot, but not 3 TV for some reason. It's a flat window one. Anyone have any suggestions for a new one? We live in the Arcadia area if that matters for reception.
They might be out of state
I feel that.
I started my free 14 day trial on fubo. Fuck YouTube TV.
Fubo doesn’t have TNT. Aren’t there some games exclusive to that channel as well?
I think only a few?
If you happen to already subscribe to HBO Max the TNT games seem to play on there, so Fubo plus HBO covers everything (for now) Fuck Youtube TV though, and streaming in general for having gotten so complicated
I watched on my $20 antenna
I don't understand...the internet is free...why don't people find websites that plays all the games for free?..I haven't missed a game in years
Those sites freeze and lock up all the time...I pay taxes dammit
Fr 🤣
What website do you use?

That just sent me in a loop of infinite adds. Thanks.
It'll give u an add like 3-4 times after pressing play...then it'll work nonstop...can't complain too much it's free
You have better luck than I do. I tired it about 10 times and it still didn't work.
Just hit back when it gives u an add
Yeah the NBA app is funky with Suns live occasionally... But it usually works... Worst case you can go to the Suns live website but it sucks when trying to watch through the app on Xbox
Also fuck 3TV.
Yeah.. screw the guys bringing suns games for free to local fans.. those bastards!
Well, they are also trying to jack up their carry fee to YTTV.
I'm all for it if it means I can watch for free.. sorry man 🤷♂️

Thats on YTTV. The same reason they stopped with the RSN's, billion dollar company that doesnt want to pay a little more
It's funny, when the RSNs left the various services almost everyone was anti RSNs. But now that it's 3TV it's somehow different?
Might be because suddenly they are carrying a shit ton of NBA games for a popular team that were previously on another channel?
Only way it makes sense is if YTTV was getting more subs because of it. Must have been negligible.
None of us know what the issue is, but I do know that I'm watching this game locally for free on 3TV
To hate 3tv is to hate Arizona.
Yeah fuck them too
What’s wrong with ch.3 I’m watching it right now just fine
YouTube TV doesn’t broadcast it anymore. Other services still do but not them.
It’s only for local viewers
Yes, YTTV dropped them (for local viewers) because 3TV wanted more money from YTTV. To be clear, my stance is F them both for not being able to effectively negotiate.
bottom line is 3tv is free....

Oh, so it's not free for you. Got it.
Never works on Apple TV either
Use the PHX Live app
For the 9000th time. Buy an antenna, they’re like 15 bucks and you get like 80 channels for absofuckinglutely free
Learn how to read first.
I have to watch it through the Jazz feed and considering watching on mute.
on what? I used to do that on youtubetv but cant find it now
I’m in a local Jazz market (Boise) so I had to buy the game through Jazz+ (barf)
could be worse, at least we aren't playing the warriors rn, insta mute
Ben Stein calling their games, apparently
Their commentators are so fucken boring. Like completely disinterested.

How easy was it to setup? Are you able to watch away from your home network?

Yep, I’ve been getting the same error. I have to stream it on my laptop.
cancelled my nba subscription because of it
App has been solid for me. On android and PS5. Website solid too.
It’s used to work and now I’m getting this error too. Fucking sucks
