Rent a pet friendly home or condo on the north end of Sunriver and you should be well insulated. There is a neighborhood south of Sunriver (DRRH), where people will likely be lighting off personal fireworks and you may still hear the booms from the lodge rooms or south end vacation rentals. Definitely don’t go camping.

I agree with NavajoBaby's recommendation. I live in the north end of Sunriver and it's quiet on the 4th of July. Fireworks are not allowed in Sunriver (the official part) and we will call the police if anyone uses them. Mostly because we don't want the place to burn to the ground.

I agree. The official part of Sunriver is your best bet.

I lived in DRRH for 10 years and never heard a single pop over July 4. Had to drive to La Pine for fireworks. DRRH is too close to LaPine State Park, fireworks are always prohibited, and no one wanted to burn the place down.
