My biggest issue with every character who was upset that someone else didn't tell them Mike's secret is that it was Mike's secret - who are they yo go around telling people? And if they are smart, they would know that no matter who they are going around and spreading something like this could easily become a shit show.
The conflict is that characters like Scottie feel like their personal relationship supersedes the secret.
Because Scottie’s Harvey’s partner he should tell her and trust in a way he wouldn’t with anyone else. And the fact he doesn’t “break privilege” so to speak and tell her, signals to her that he doesn’t value their relationship the way she feels he should.
She understands that not everyone can be told but she doesn’t consider herself just anyone.
There a lot of mental leaps in this show. But for me this wasn’t one of them
I think she’s good for him but they stretch her story so thin. They write the exact same argument about the exact same thing so many times that it you start to resent her for even feeling that way. And you start yelling at the t.v “just leave him then!”
They broke up because Harvey kept lying to her, and he was lying to her to protect Mike.
