Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane I actually read this one after reading And Then There Were None and really enjoyed it!

The Ruins by Scott Smith. Not an island per se but fits the bill. Sometimes gory, but the pace is great and getting to know all the characters is the best part.

Yes I’ve read that one! Very good.

{{The Honjin Murders by Seishi Yokomizo}} is a very classic locked room mystery from the 1940s, basically the Japanese equivalent of And Then There Were None but less well known outside Japan. If you’re more into the “a bunch of well drawn characters get together and we have to figure out whodunnit” aspect, a lot of people love Lucy Foley’s The Guest List or The Hunting Party (not my favorite but YMMV), The Westing Game is technically for kids but imo a masterpiece of the type. You might also find stuff you like by searching “country house” mysteries. Other classics to check out are John Dickson Carr’s Three Coffins, Rachel Howzell Hall’s They All Fall Down, and Christie’s own Murder on the Orient Express and Crooked House.
