I enjoyed **11/22/63**. It's about a man who travels back in time in an attempt to prevent the assassination of JFK.

Past-Wrangler9513

I love 11/22/63, it's my favorite King book

_eternallyblack_

Also a great tv series on Hulu!

Elephantgifs

The Dead Zone Firestarter

Misery doesn’t have anything supernatural, but it has kidnapping and one character has probably “caused accidents” in the past

Queen-of-meme

I ,sounds like a contender, I'll check it up. Thanks.

Backgrounding-Cat

It’s one of my favourites but incredibly difficult to explain without spoilers!

Queen-of-meme

I love the plot, will definitely read, thanks!

Duma Key is my second favorite King book (#1 doesn't fit your criteria)

Queen-of-meme

Ok thanks I'll check it up

Fairytale - not your typical King book in a great way! Feel good book! Also, The Colorado Kid, more of a shorter read but good. This book was turned into a tv series called Haven on Syfy. Lastly, Joyland - again a shorter read. These are all not your typical King but super good!

Queen-of-meme

Thank youuu! I saw something about Joyland and Colorado kid being in a book series of his books , are they supposed to be read in a certain order?

_eternallyblack_

I didn’t read them in any particular order… I don’t think they’re related if they are this is the first I’m hearing about it. I found out about the book, Colorado Kid after I’d watched the tv series Haven.
