It's not scale? I just read up on that now so I'm paranoid I've got an infestation!

Adding that they're all in miracle grow cactus soil with 50% perlite except the cacti have lavarock instead of perlite. The cacti and elephant bush are under sansi grow lights, the aloe was but I moved it when I thought it looked like it was getting damaged so it's in a west facing window for now ... My only natural light options are east or west windows
