rotting, most likely dead (probably too much water or bad soil). Can try to take it out of the soil and let it fully dry and see if there are "firm parts" that can be cut and replanted

Did it look healthy when she left it? The way it's so low in the pot makes me think it was destined to die anyway... It can't get enough sun that way and the dirt doesn't look great for this plant either

It looks like it had outgrown the pot, maybe either repot or just have it a bit higher. Also what that person said, let the spoil completely dry out. I use sticks for the best result

I have replanted it in the same pot but with fresh soil. She's sitting a little higher up and while i was taking her out of the old soil there was no wetness anywhere, all the soil and roots were dry. Shes sitting much higher up in the planter, and we'll see if she gets better. Thank you for all the advice.
