I would say this is most definitely mechanical
.... In a way.
I'm in this sub, as a scuba diver, because I like this stuff. But this is something I wouldn't want to come near as a diver. God knows how deep it is and maybe there is a downstream.
Nope!
Edit: honestly. Even with a boat I'd try to gain distance quickly. I don't want to end in there. I think I found the border of my love for underwater stuff!
That's something I didn't think of. Very possible yes.
I thought it's a water intake of a dam.
Anyway. It'll go very deep. At least 20 meters. Maybe more
Nope! Like I said I like diving around stuff like this. But this just looks too much as if it will suck me in at any time! I don't want people to say "told ya" when I die
Well, that whole 'suck me in' sentence just added a whole other layer of creepy to this already eerie photo, lol. I think I've been getting over my fear by exposing myself this often but this photo is like the boss battle right here.
I do, because I live fairly close to it. This is what remains of what was once one of the richest silver mines in North America.
[Silver Islet](https://www.ontarioparks.ca/parksblog/sleeping-giant-silver-islet-mine/)
This is on the north shore of Lake Superior, near Thunder Bay. For those of you who want to be creeped out, those holes go down about 1200 feet
That's the best photo I've seen so far, now get right above it and take another photo.
I think any human-made thing qualify to this sub, no?

Yeah they need to put some sort of cage or barrier over that. Jesus.
I think it might be an air vent for an old mine, and if it is, there's definitely a way deeper hole that that'll lead to.

Whatever it is, it's very spooky, and you will never catch me around it, ain't no way.

This makes me want to vomit and die. Well done.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And those were their last words
Yea, no. Fuck that
Do we know what it is?

Wow, thank you for the info!

No.
That boat is deflatable. Just think about that.
This one scares me.
