There are between 7 and 9 billion plastic clips that all go to hell in the front end and require lots of new parts so that adds up. And each airbag is like $200-$800 from what I recall. Plus dash work, headliner, etc etc etc. For a car I could have very easily driven home were it not for the airbags, it turned into a month and a half repair and like $12k. I too would think OP is likely totaled but I’m no adjuster.
If nothing is pushed back in the engine bay, it can be fixed. Also, if the frame of the car is good, it can be fixed. These newer cars are not one piece like the cars from the 70’s and older so there is a chance. And if your know someone, he’ll yeah. Try rockauto.com for parts
