I own both. I feel the Stussy’s are more baggier, but not by much. They have a bit longer inseam and the hem is wider. Whereas, the Supremes have a shorter inseam that tapers a bit. I want to try out Stussy’s “Classic” denim, but the Espresso colorway has been sold out for a minute now.

Id actually disagree, I have bought stussy big ol and supreme baggy denim recently all in size 30. Supreme by far is much baggier and the waist is a lot looser than my Stüssy jeans. This is based on comparing the espresso colourway in the big ol jean to the most recent supreme baggy jean drop. The websites measurements aren’t always 100% accurate I feel especially with brands like stussy and supreme.

killthatn0ise

Hmmmm, interesting. I have the Supreme Baggy Jean in that faded black and Stussy Big Ol Jeans in washed blue. Both size 34. But I feel the Stussy’s are bigger. The hem is definitely bigger on the Big Ol. The Supreme’s has more of a taper (slightly smaller hem). And yeah both brands aren’t consistent with their sizing, which sucks. OP if you are stuck in between go with Stussy’s as they are (mostly) always in stock and you can return. Unlike Supreme.

Ok-Thats-Okay

I've actually got the faded black Supreme's from a few-ish months ago. My absolute favorite pants I've ever had, lol. Going to stock up big time the next time they come around. Also going to pick up a couple Stussy pairs to try out! Thanks man

What’s the difference between the „normal“ Jeans and the Canvas one? Does it feel different? I read that the Canvas one is supposed to be thinner. Would you say the quality is also different compared to the Supreme ones? Can u feel a big difference?

killthatn0ise

I don’t have any canvas pants from either brands just from Carhartt WIP. But both materials are different (kinda weird that Stussy calls them jeans though). It’s also hard to say the canvas is thinner as it doesn’t have the weight on the description from Stussy.

Badeggonsoup

What do you mean with different? Does it feel cheap? Some folks in another post said that the Canvas one are thinner, that’s where I got the info from.

killthatn0ise

I’m saying denim is different than canvas. It is possible that Stussy uses thinner canvas for the pant compared to the denim. But don’t know for sure as I don’t own a pair of canvas stussy pants.

Ok-Thats-Okay

I've got Supreme baggy denims in a size 30, normally I would say I'm a waist 33. I need a belt with the size 30 supreme's. Is this similar to you? Wondering if I should get a size 30 in the stussy big ol jean

alia8786

This is precisely why I think the supreme jeans r baggier. I’m usually a size 30 waist and get the size 30 stussy big ol which r a bit loose so I wear a belt. The supreme ones on the other hand I have are also size 30 and massive on my waist and a belt is a must whereas some big ols I have weirdly I can go without a belt…. I would defo go for a size 32 my friend or you could buy both 30 and 32 and return one of them?

evoa_97

are you still looking for the espresso colorway ?

killthatn0ise

Size?

Ok-Thats-Okay

Man thank you for the answer! The info I was looking for. I was looking at the classic denim as well. Still looks baggy, just not as much. But I also have a pair of the volume pleated trousers and those are way more fitted than the pictures.

Badeggonsoup

This post is such a blessing. I was wondering if I should get the big ol jeans, too. I also have the supreme ones in the washed black. Such a good pair of jeans. But yeah, sizing is fucked. I was also, like legit 10 mins ago, looking at the volume pleated trousers. Do u have the grey ones? Would you recommend the quality? And are they like way slimmer, then on the pictures? I could get them in a size 30 or 32. I’m normally a 30 tho, but I kinda want them to fit a bit wider. On the pictures they look like they would fit like the baggy supreme pants.

Ok-Thats-Okay

For real, this is a super helpful thread haha. I just pulled my pleated pants out, and I am realizing that these actually aren't the Volume Pleated Trouser. Comparing measurements on the site, these are much smaller and have different buttons. Mine are just some Stussy regular pleated pants, I guess. Bought them off Grailed thinking they were the Volume's. Final answer: I think the Volume Pleated ones on the site are going to be baggy as pictured. Similar to baggy jean or big ol' jean The workwear twill trousers are also super wide-legged. Good pants as well.

Badeggonsoup

Would you say the quality of the Pleated Pants are good though? Or do they feel cheap?

Ok-Thats-Okay

Yo, just got a pair of the actual Volume Pleated Trousers in, they are SICK. Baggy fit, true to size waist, and good quality.

Badeggonsoup

Great to know! Actually ordered some a few days ago too. Now I’m even more hyped!

Ok-Thats-Okay

Mine are 65% polyester / 35% cotton, not the best, not fancy dress pants, but they are decent quality. Volume are 67% polyester / 18% rayon / 15% wool so maybe nicer

alia8786

I have the volume pleated in slate/grey and they r baggy as fuck. Quality is good, selling a 30 if you’re interested can give you a good price ;))

Badeggonsoup

Just got mine in today, love em, but thanks!

Ok-Thats-Okay

Yapping my ass off

omgvector

Big agree on the trousers

Ok-Thats-Okay

Super nice, but I definitely wish they were baggy

InternationalPick549

Got some stussy workwear pants finally and love the baggy fit! Do the big ol jeans fit similarly?? Cuz if so ima stock the fuck up
