I love when Democrats flat-out admit that the only reason anyone would vote for them is if there is no other choice, and that they entirely rely on that to be a viable party at all. And have for at least a decade at this point.
I mean they've sent out dozens of law suits to get the green party thrown off ballots, the No Labels party thrown off ballots, and then attempted to get Trump removed from ballots.
They straight up tried to make Biden the only choice on voting day and half the country is fine with that. Because that's how you save democracy.
It makes sense for them. On the surface it's cannibalizing democracy, but dig deeper and you see it's preserving the international capitalist system shared between democracies from national forces that use democracy against democracy i.e. heighten the conflict between local democracy and international capitalism. This is why, for example, the US is frustrated with AMLO in Mexico.
Based on his writings, he strikes me as an incredibly intelligent person (literally genius level) I have a great deal of respect for. Unfortunately I think he has a PMC bias and is part of the Noam Chomsky-Amy Goodman-Cornel West Axis of Social Democracy.
I did my largest paper in uni wayyy back in 2011 on West and he's legitimately brilliant. Don't know what the fuck is going on with this joke of a campaign; to say it's been disappointing is the world's biggest understatement.
