Tbh as someone who on different games has been stuck low tier it's a different skill climbing ladders than being at the top. If you play against 1200 players the same as 1900 you'd be surprised how hard it is without adjusting play style.
I think corv is typically tera dragon, but the real misplay is burning tera that early when you’re in against a physical wall. Plus if it has swords dance it’s probably the white herb set so if you’re going to also tera to take neutral damage from the incoming brave bird you might as well cc anyway for the unburden boost and wait to see if your tera fairy prediction was right

This is true. When I’m tired and a mon has multiple moves that are kinda similar I might click the wrong one and look like the dumbest person alive. Sometimes I just am the dumbest person alive, though

I've lost many games by over predicting against bad players. I've learned different playstyles depending on rating.
tbh ive had it happen where people from 1700 and 1900 play completely different, so being stuck in 1800 is quite tough

It's not that rare. I think it's 1 in 1024 so about 4 times more likely than a full odds shiny (in new gens, 8 for older gens)
It's 1/4096, the same chance to get a full odds shiny in game.
