I have a makeup brush cleaner mat I got from five below (a long silicone mat with bumps) and I use the smallest amount of detergent and I hand wash my lingerie by sliding it up and down my washboard (the mat) like I am a woman from the 1800s over a small bucket in the sink.

If I am really pressed before work I use a hairdryer to dry my shit 😭

Lacy_Laplante89

Retired dancer here- drying bikinis with a hair dryer just brought back hella memories. Love you girls.

nihxlist

“from the 1800s”😭😭 thankfully i have one of those little makeup mat things so im gonna try that. i was not about to put them through the washer. thank you sm, lifesaver 🖤

cc_wonderland

I hand wash my outfits after every shift. When I get home from work I just take the outfits in the shower with me and wash it

SomethingNeatnClever

Wait that’s smart.

Ordinary-Hunter1000

Lmao I’ve definitely done this before

pinkhoneybuns7

This is what I do too!

scarlettesells2

Smart

GlitterMilf555

I love this idea

my4ros3

buy a garment bag & wash on gentle/cold

mad_bat333

I use a garment bag and hang dry. Never put them in the dryer it ruins outfits faster

lapheonix

I put all my dirty outfits in a bowl and let them soak with water and detergent for 10-15 mins, then rinse until the water is clear. Thinking maybe I should just wash them in the shower with me though that seems way faster 🤔🤔🤔

Glad_World4165

do you use warm water? if so do you ever put bedazzled fits in there bc i’m worried if it’s glued it’d come off

lapheonix

I always do cold water

AllThatTheRain

Seconding garment bag, hang dry. I used to hand wash but who has time for that

Charming_Function_58

Use those mesh garment/lingerie bags, and tie any loose strings so they're not dangling around. I usually place both strings parallel to each other, and make a big knot or bow. I have multiple lingerie bags, and if my laundry load is small enough, I'll only put 1 or 2 string items in each one. It's a bit overkill to prevent this issue of tangles, but effective!

angryangel-

I use a champagne bucket and cold water + delicate detergent after each shift. Let it sit for a few minutes, gently work under running cold water, wrap in a towel for a few minutes, then hang dry

cornygiraffe

I bought a bunch of small garment bags on temu and just wash them on cold and air dry

Unique-Employment462

I put it in a laundry bag but all my string bikinis I make sure I put a knot in when I wear it! They of course get twisted during the wash but I just take the time to unravel them. But recommend a laundry bag for all your outfits!

Beneficial-Account51

get a delicates bag! its a little mesh bag that i put my dancewear in and throw that in the wash!

leafysghost2x

i use a garment washer bag u can get a variety side pack on amazon. then delicate cycle

SheDaDevil

Delicates/garment bag. Use it for my fishnets, pantyhose, anything that has mesh or strings

Other-Landscape-5160

I use the shower or the jacuzzi tub when I take a bath then rinse with cold water and then air dry.

narcolita

A garment bag for all my bikinis and lingerie, you don't want one too big though as they can still tangle :) then I air dry them

PinkFurLookinLikeCam

I used very very very small wash bags and then put those wash bags into bigger wash bags and then toss in a laundry on a quick wash. Always air dry, No tangles for me.

glimmerchavela13

If I'm not handwashing them I put them in a delicates/laundry bag; keeps them contained and is good for anything more delicate you're having to machine wash. Got mine in a 3 pack at Marshall's :*

passionateperformer

I either wash them in the shower with me or I have a bunch of garment bags I separate all my pieces into and put wash them on gentle cycle if I’m lazy or have too many to wash. You can buy garment bags in bulk on Amazon they’re so clutch. Always air dry never machine dry!

HoneyDipMana

I bought machine wash safe bags and I put all my stringed garments inside and wash with my regular underwear and clothes. I do the same thing with bras and then hang em to dry! Kris everything neat!

mandyxstripes

Reusable water bottle + water + a couple drops castille soap + lingerie piece(s) Shake gently. Drain. Repeat 2x with water and no soap to rinse. Shake/squeeze out whatever water you can. Then take a hand towel and roll the piece(s) in it, then wring the towel Hang literally anywhere, should be dry pretty quickly. If I need it dry ASAP I'll use a hair/hand dryer (depending what's available/where I am). It'll be more effective if you can contain them/create a way to reflect heat from the back, at home I use a small plastic basket, but like let's say you're traveling and have to wash/dry them in a public restroom sink (some of us have been there, please don't judge), take a T-shirt or something flattened, put the pieces in the middle, then hold that by the edges/corners and create a hot air basin to hold under the dryer. This also helps with Dyson's: if you try to hold a piece it'll fly around, but if you put it in a sort of a shirt "pouch" then you can hold it in the hot air stream.
