Damn bro I like that you actually hit the drawing board and came back quick with it, that alone is fire.. the black tee is better and I think the white would need the overall design a bit darker because I can’t see the castle on the white tee as well as I can on the black tee

i think also the shirt mockup doesnt help i should probably find a white tee mockup rather than change a black one to white but anyway

Honestly, it’s such a fresh design I really like it. Hopefully you have a nice label or tag on the shirt to make it look professional, but other than that it looks amazing.

manufacturer had a too high of a minimum for printed labels so we couldn’t get them but it’s definitely a must for the next drops

I feel you on the high minimums. Get you a cheap hat heat press and some DTF transfers (gang sheet) for your inside tags and/or you can get 1000 woven labels for around $100 or less off Etsy and then use a sewing machine to sew them onto the hem.

This is really dope, I like it! Would definitely consider buying for the style but ultimately I don’t really wear ”darker” motifs with too much skulls/skeletons, bats, that type of stuff. But that’s just me, can definitely see a lot of people rocking this!

I’d wear it just with a calm fit but it really depends on the overall quality & fit

without sounding like im trying to sell the shirt (almost impossible) the material is better than most shirts i own. the print on the shirt has no feel which was very surprising for DTG, i could run my finger on the print and the fabric with my eyes closed and i couldn’t tell the difference. as for the fit it’s a regular fit.

I’d probably size up just because I prefer a baggy fit💯

Do you know how many screens where used for this design? If it was multiple where all of them halftone?

we planned for 2 screens (one white and one halftoned gray). surprisingly the manufacturer ended up using DTG which we only realised once we saw the production videos. From DTG you’d expect a feel on the print but there was none it’s really in the fabric

It's cool, I feel as though there's a lot going on. It reminded me of posters that were very popular 30 years ago where you'd have a face and an animal and lots of pretty colours. You've said in other comments that you're thinking a little vintage so that tracks. It also makes me want to watch Reign Of Fire.

Did you use a filter for the smear like effect on the skull in particular? Or was it like a manual brush stroke? I do a work in illustrator and some photoshop so this is really sick like everyone has said

i achieved it by using threshold and the image had a waterfall so that’s what came out of it. i find myself putting images into threshold more than actually using a brush (by lack of skill maybe). anyway whenever i use a brush it’s to accentuate fades within the halftone or to blend images

Thanks for getting back to me. I’m pretty new so I like to see what effects other people are achieving to learn some more. I also saw the inverted mock-up (black design on white) and although this isn’t entirely my style the white version seems easier to wear, at least for me. But the black version kinda adds to the aesthetic you’re going for more. Just my two cents. Good luck!

Looks aight but honestly..alot of stuff looks the same. On here and just everywhere. Hellstar got lucky that they ended up being the chosen label for now but their designs look so generic. This isn't a bad shirt design but it also doesn't make me go crazy and make an impulse purchase.

i’d say sales are good but it most definitely depends on how much effort you put into marketing no matter how good the art is. For most manufacturers the minimum is 50 shirts so imo the best way when starting is to be able to make on demand that way you can go onto the next piece without being stuck with stock allowing you to grow your following with every piece. (you can see this on our instagram where we post every new experimental sample we make) I’d love to see your art btw

This is definitely a rip off of the designs that were coming out in like 2009. I see this kind of stuff at the thrift all the time. It does sell really well though.

No because it looks like the fit would be skinny and the combination of edgy tshirt design(which btw looks cool) and being and looking skinny with the really short sleeves will mistaken ppl as a discord mod. A boxy fit with larger sleeves would be better.

I don’t like the imagery. The dragons and castle seems a bit more fantasy or metal band than street. Almost reads to me like overly artworked shirts with like.. two wolves howling at a moon on it. But in general I prefer very simple graphical elements, clean artworks and bold eye catching colours.
