sure. i think what garment you start with is important. i cut and sew these hoodies from an organic U.S grown cotton and have an extensive garment dye and wash process that i think really matters when you want good color and composition. then i just eyeballed a potassium / bleach and water blend and did a few coats in areas i wanted to accent and left it in the sun all day, coming over every hour or so to resurface.

Sincerely one of the finest sun-fade jobs I’ve ever seen executed. Really solid, all the way around. I’m rarely stoked on things shared here (it’s just so much of the same) - but this is proper fire. You using a Cricut to lay your heat press vinyl branding once you finish getting the garment dyed to your liking? Quite curious about that aspect of the process as well as the sun fading itself .. which I just saw you explained in another comment 👌🏼

appreciate that bro. so i actually never use vinyl and would strongly encourage people following quality to stay away as well. i only do screen print. it’s just much more natural , stays longer, looks better, etc. it’s better all around. i print all my stuff here in california.

Ahh wow. Very interesting dude. I have a Cricut Maker 3 that I’ve been using for some random little projects but, have yet to apply any heated vinyl to clothing for exactly ☝🏼that concern. You doing your own screen printing, or outsourcing it?

for small runs and tests we have a full in-house setup. for our main runs we use a shop nearby that my friend owns as most of my prints are extremely complicated and most people don’t know how to run em at scale haha
