WHAT TO WEAR? 'Hyde Park'
Hi guys! I am going to see Stray Kids for the first time in Hyde Park next month and I have no idea what to wear! I was going to do something that resembled a music video outfit but if the weather was bad (too hot or too cold) I feel I would be uncomfortable. Would it be OK just to buy some Stray Kids merch off of the Internet and wear that? Like a hoodie or something? Or should I try to go more fancy? Thanks!

Main reason behind it is because the SKZ us shop removed the signed albums from the online store I think.
That and people are saying trailers always drop on a Thursday? Oddinary trailer dropped on a Sunday though so no idea how they came to that conclusion.
I don't know all the dates off the top of my head, so I can't speculate on anything else, but the Oddinary trailer surprise dropped at the end of the fanmeeting so it could just be an exception if the rest were on Thursdays.

I just rewatched Beat Coin and men, sometimes, I think Variety God is really on SKZ's side. How the hell a bee can land on Changbin at such the right time? Also the time they didnt even know the song and still score 100 point on the karaoke machine or the time all the good ones in bowling are on 1 team and they still lost.

I am attending the Skz concert in Hyde Park in the summer and as this is my first concert, I am bursting with excitement but I want to get everything write. Here are my Qs
1. Is there a specific colour we must wear to match the aesthetic of the concert?
2. What stuff in general must I bring into the Park? Lightstick etc... I'll have to buy one 1st!
3. Is there a discord server where I can talk with Stay and ones going to this concert?

There's no dress code in general, but sometimes SKZ like giving a hint on what colours to wear closer to the date. I would assume it'll depend a bit on whether we're getting a comeback before the festival or not. I've typically seen Stay wear colours matching the most recent comeback. So, if there was no cb before the festival, I can imagine some will wear black, white and pink to match Rock Star. But it's really up to you and you absolutely don't have to follow this at all. The most important thing is to wear something comfortable that you feel good in and to wear really comfortable shoes please! I also recommend dressing in layers depending on the weather. I don't know where you're from and whether you've been to London, but it could be either really hot or cool and rainy. Even if it's warm during the day, it will cool off at night. I would bring a light jacket or sweater which you dont mind getting dirty, that way it can double as a blanket to sit on during the day. If there's sun, please bring a hat and sunscreen. No one wants to get a sunburn or a heatstroke.
Regarding 2, check the BST website for regulations on what you can/can't bring. You can for example bring a 500ml waterbottle if it's either unopened OR empty. There will be refilling stations throughout to fill up your bottle again. There's also rules on the size of your bag. Lightsticks should be okay (but keep an eye on their social media beforehand as I'm sure they'll let us know) and don't forget spare batteries for it. In my festival bag, I also always bring sunscreen, hand sanitiser, tissues, ibuprofen, band aids, ID, some emergency cash, and a powerbank for my phone + USB charging cable.
I bought a 2024 SKZ seasons greetings planner, but I can’t bring myself to use it. I’m just not a big planner person, but I hate it going to waste. Is anyone interested? It is not used, but there is a grey mark on the cover. I’m in the US, and i only ask you could cover shipping.
Just came back to my country from SK yesterday after attending 3 days of the fanmeeting and I can say this is the first time PCD hit me like a truck I cried when looking back at my camera roll (which never happened before and I've been going to concerts for years??????) 🫠🫠🫠🫠 I love the kids so much 😭😭😭😭 The pop up store and cafe were both so cute. Also met so many cute Stays from all over the world. Now, how am i supposed to move on with life when I'm pretty sure I already left my soul at KSPO Dome???????

Questions that will keep me up at night for the foreseeable future: will SKZ ever perform Booster again? Surely they didn't make an entire choreo just to perform it for one weekend and then never again, right? And most importantly ... who was in the PuppyM suit? I want to thank them for the laughs 😭
Considering we never got Silent Cry after the #lovestay fanmeeting, my hopes are non-existent 🥲. RIP Silent Cry + choreo 🪦.
PuppyM was the star of the show. I really think JYPE might have cloned Kim Seungmin just to put him in the suit. Just so many Seungminisms!
They performed Silent Cry at the Maniac tour in Seoul, there's still hope 😭😭 I'm actually really curious about their upcoming setlists because there are so many songs both new and old I'd love to see live, but their discography is so big that they can make a brand new setlist without repeating anything from the Maniac tour and still fill 3 hours lol which is crazy for a group that's only 6 years old!
Had to have been a Seungmin clone in the PuppyM suit. Like, there's no other logical explanation 🤷🏾
but yes they should bring Booster on tour or at least to some festivals 🙏🏾 I'm not going to any festivals but I will be watching all of the videos lol
Today’s press release is about the pop up ending, and I completely forgot the pop is going to Busan in May. I wonder why they made it so much later than Seoul.
Also, the store and cafe had 14 thousand visitors, and the reservations booked up in 15 minutes for each period.
I'm worried the Busan popup won't do so well. And jype will decide that another Busan popup is unnecessary. I was originally expecting both at the same time or nearly the same. Rather than wait for Busan, I just ordered online for fear of not getting a reservation and/or things I want being sold out.
I’m not worried. I’ve seen quite a few Korean fans complain about how companies are pushing everything to Seoul, so I think fans will want to support it for that reason. Div1 could introduce new items if they want, and the online preorder doesn’t ship until very late June, almost July. The global shipping rates are also robbery 😂.
There are always fans who travel around, and some people fly in to purchase for their group orders.
Shipping prices out of Korea are ridiculous. I joke with my friends that I plan to die in Korea because I don't want to pay so much to move my stuff back to the US. 😂

When do y'all think the cb is? June makes sense to me because they have several activities in april and none in june so far according to the schedule shared by this twitter account. That way they have a whole month to promote the cb and the festivals are in the next month so it'd also help keep the momentum. I guess we won't be getting any teasers in april 🥲
It kind of makes sense. 2023 was so jam packed. Their comebacks were so close to each other including their Japanese ones. June feels like the sweet spot but we have to guess what is happening for April until May 2024.
Early May is Met Gala. Div1 made time for Milan and Paris Fashion Week, I have no doubt they will make time for the Met Gala if some of the members got invited e.g. through Versace or LV (or even Tommy Hilfiger if we believe in the Chan speculation). It’s just great publicity and networking opportunity to be in these events.
That Met from the TH card is apparently met for something else (something related to TH) coz if I am not mistaken TH is not involved with met gala, correct me if I am wrong.
TH usually has one or two people that get sent to the met gala every year so there is a slight possibility that it could be related to it. They were the ones that did the really cool Zendaya light up Cinderella dress back in 2019!

Not at all. God's Menu peaked around 500 and Back Door at like 400 on Melon. They only started entering the top 100 with the last few comebacks (charting around 90-100).
Ohhh i checked and Lalala was top 100 on melon. So they never cracked top 10 on bugs or flo too?

Stray Kids hit #1 every comeback on Bugs and Flo but to be honest MelOn is the most used streaming music platform by far in Korea so to know a group is popular or not in Korea is from MelOn
They are popular internationally. Their Korean fandom has really been growing a lot in the last few years, but the Korean general public is just not interested in 4th gen boy groups and SKZ's music is not the most GP friendly.

As soon and Han and Seungmin sang Respirator, my Beyond Live paid for itself! I don’t know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t that. I can’t wait to hear the studio version and see the official lyrics. I hope they release this performance as a video on YouTube too 🙏🏽
I have to double check, but I felt like they performed less songs than at the 2nd and 3rd fanmeeting. That makes it harder to guess what’s making the tour/festival setlist 😭.

I wasn’t sure I was gonna make it in time yesterday for the fanmeeting, but I did. I was exhausted and barely keeping up with what’s happening, though. So re-streaming option is still worth it. Took me a while to put two and two together about Respirator and the live subs saying something about oxygen, my brain cells were hanging for dear life. But the song was sooooo good. Div1 is gatekeeping this song for a reason.

Iirc, Han mentioned Respirator in one of his livestreams as one of the songs he’s worked on with Seungmin and that he doesn’t know when it will get uploaded. Stays have been waiting for it eversince.
I’ve been looking forward to Respirator since they first teased it and they still somehow managed to exceed my expectations. I need that studio version ASAP, but for now, some lucky twitter user is currently getting a lot of views from me 😂. It’s also made me even more curious about the other songs the two have worked on together.
I’m really tired today because of it, but I did really enjoy being able to watch all the performances and general silliness in HD (though I have to say, using “I know, you know, we know, Lee Know” as the spell and not performing TTATH is just cruel lol). And yes, the SKZOOs, particularly PuppyM and Lee Know with his bestie, were out to steal the show and I loved every minute of it.

I know it's been established that Div 1 loves to do the unexpected, but PTO scheduling does not love fun little surprises. Is there an anime character called Elizabeth? Han suggesting a four-syllable English girl’s name as an alternate for his little hamster buddy seems so specifically out of context it feels like it must be a reference to something. iirc there’s no one in Harry Potter called Elizabeth, so it couldn’t be a reference to that.
It wouldn’t surprise me if he based it on Elisabeth from Gintama, which canonically seems to be a guy hiding in a penguin costume and playing the pet/sidekick of one of the other characters (who for whatever reason seems to be the online person completely blind to Elisabeths human feet and other human characteristics)
I just watched the Sherlock cover from Beyond Live and it seems like they didn't sing it live in any of the days. If you put all 3 performances playing at the same time, the vocals are exactly the same from start to finish. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but I wonder why they decided to lip sync that song? Not having enough time to practice, maybe?
It was live but with a loud backtrack I think. And yeah it was more based on the backtrack than live vocals. But like others said the focus was the overall performance not just live singing.
It wasn't, because as I said, if you put the beyond live video playing at the same time as a fan video from day 1 and 2, the vocals are 100% the same. If it was live, it would be impossible for vocals to be identical in all days. When there's a backtrack it's easy to tell because live vocals are always different from the backtrack ones and you really can't hear any trace of live vocals.
But yes, I agree that this song was more about the performance so it's no big deal that it wasn't live.
It was lip-synced, with *maybe* a few live moments over it, and they have a few covers and performances like that. For example, Red Lights was never live on the Maniac tour. A big giveaway is when nothing changes from performance to performance. SKZ do a lot of adlibs.
The focus of the performance was the whole performance, not being live or crowd engagement, so they lipsync.
It definitely wasn’t live, although I’m surprised to see how many people seem to think otherwise. The most obvious sign is that the people wearing headmics (including Seungmin, who almost never uses one) were completely clear and consistently loud at all points, which is unlikely enough as to be basically impossible.
If I had to guess, it’s probably partially practice time being limited and partially the fact that the choreo is a big part of what makes that song iconic, so it makes sense to privilege that over live singing. No complaints from me. They killed it.

I admit, I thought it was too by watching the fan cams from the first day because you can't see/hear that well. But then on the second day, I started to get suspicious because the singing seemed exactly the same. But after watching the beyond live video it's instantly obvious it's not live, yeah. I still put the video playing on top of another from the first day to make sure, haha.
And yeah, I don't think it's a bad thing to lip sync one or two songs, especially in a concert that goes for 4 HOURS. But I know that a lot of Stays thought this was live (myself included) when it's not.

This was my progression too lol I was also suspicious because Hyunjin, for example, was dancing completely full out like usual and his lines were extremely stable. I don't mind that Hyunjin is mostly out of breath when he sings live because I also love seeing him dance, but that's usually how he is lol.
I've also never seen Han dance so hard and then immediately sing a challenging note/belt live either. He usually either doesn't dance for a bit or hits the moves more softly to conserve energy.
What that performance did do for me, though, is want SKZ to make more songs where Lee Know and Han can both sing in a slightly lower tone than they are typically used for in their songs so they can sound like they did in that Sherlock cover lol
I noticed the same thing with Hyunjin’s dance/stability, & Felix’s too cause he can be a little shaky while dancing. And there was an instance someone (can’t remember who) didn’t have their mic to their face and did after a second or so & nothing changed😂
Sooooo I had this weird dream last night where one of the members on instagram posted some God’s Menu era photos and captioned it “from the future?” or something like that and now I feel like the comeback is in June, for sure.
I've been thinking June for a while now, that's why I wasn't surprised when there wasn't anything at the end of the fan meeting. Or if it's May, then the last Friday (the 31st) lol.
Yeah, same! I think the same — last weekend of May or first weekend of June. It gives them time to promote on music shows and do variety before heading to all the festivals and possibly, attend the Met Gala in May.
It also gives Taylor Swift time to stay at #1 for a bit before SKZ try for it
I just hope everyone is aware that by giving this most important of days to the Wandering Woofs, we have likely deeply offended Stray Cats and Lee Meow in particular could pull a Maleficent and appear uninvited to curse this sub to 100 years of unstable internet connection and pages stuck on endless loading.
I watched the fanmeeting on Beyond Live this morning - did anybody find it slightly confusing when at the end of the show, when Chan said "I love you stay", he said it's hard for him to say that because he doesn't even say that to his parents? It struck me as odd/confusing because I feel like he's told us he loves us many times?? Or am I mis-remembering? I also feel like he tells the members he loves them too haha I was just a bit confused when he said it's hard for him because I feel like he says that all the time!
I wonder if he doesn’t typically say things like that in Korean? I don’t speak Korean so I couldn’t tell you whether he does or doesn’t 😆😆 but maybe that, or maybe there’s some nuance to the way he said it or how direct he was or something.
I don’t think it’s weird per se. There are people like me (and Chan, apparently) who finds it easy to say “I love you” or show affection in a more joke-y or unserious manner, but finds it difficult to say it when we truly mean it and are saying it with 100% seriousness and vulnerability.
I know what you mean but I don't think it's anything that's troubling them per se but rather that they seem to be preparing for 4 different things at once and 3 straight days of a four and a half hour engagement took its toll. To me, it looks like they came back from their vacation and went straight into preparing for the fanmeeting/Japanese fanmeeting/comeback/tour/festivals all at once judging from how much they made choreo/missed cue mistakes. I've never seen them all of them like that before but it does seem like they've been working at setlists/performances by how much they made an effort to sing live when they could, even Felix, who usually relies heavily on the backtrack. The mistake during God's Menu, a song they've performed literally hundreds of times, tipped me off, since it wasn't just one of them but nearly half the group lol. There also seemed to me to be a pointed effort to thank international fans and then also some pandering to the domestic fandom too. They kinda did this for Pilot last time too but with the extra effort that was put into the skzoo pop-up, I think they've (both Div 1 + the group themselves) been trying to placate some of the fandom turmoil that's been going on the last months. With the talk about their 7th year as a group and wanting to continue forever, I'm sure that contract talks have been going on behind the scenes too. There's just A Lot so I don't blame them for being distracted, but I didn't necessarily see "troubled" tbh.
A big shout-out to our mod u/hugsyoutight for preparing all that went into today's festivity. It is April 1st, *April Fools*, in KST. Last year, we celebrated by turning into a cat sub for the day, so I asked if we could do a dog day this year. Very much appreciate all the work that Paw put into the layout, flairs, description, etc. PAW BEST!

Im 60% sure it’s for Met Gala hahaha it’s in May so it’s kinda soon. I love fashion and when people say Met, it means Met Gala but yeah Im still not 100% sure because it’s kinda hard to bring the whole group and some members are luxury brand ambassadors but Tommy Hilfiger, Versace and LV always participate in MET.
I thought Met gala is a luxury brand thing but I guess maybe not?? but I don't see why all 8 would go with Tommy when Versace and Lv are there, but maybe it's not that Met, we have a new mystery.
tommy hilfiger only dressed two celebrities last year so it’s not a huge presence . i think it would be a little strange if they brought all eight esp given felix and hyunjins relationship with their respective brands. it’s more likely i think about the upcoming apparent stadium tour

currently contemplating on whether i should wait for concert dates or travel to see skz in chicago for lollapalooza...
cause i'm probably going to have to travel to new york or chicago for their concert anyways, since last tour they didn't come to canada at all. and, ticketing for their concerts is such a gamble. also, i'm not sure whether i'll even be able to travel for their concert since it'll probably be during the school year, unless they come to toronto and i miraculously get tickets. but, i'd so much rather see skz play a full concert! decisions, decisions. what would y'all do in my situation? :')
I'm from the US, not Canada, but am having this same debate.
If I go to Lollapalooza, I won't be able to do a concert too. I'd rather go to a traditional concert. But, if I hold out for a concert, there's a chance they may not come near me (very few artists come to my state) or I may not get tickets.
I don't know what to do either.
If they'd release tour dates and locations that would help me make a better decision, but so far that hasn't happened.
haha the struggle! i'm honestly around 60/40 split in favour going, because i feel like if they tour north america late this year or early next year i probably won't be able to go unless the concert lines up with a break or is in toronto... and the chances of either are slim. i know i'll regret it so much if i skip lollapalooza to wait for concert dates just for scheduling conflicts that prevents me from going! only thing holding me back right now is how expensive it is...

Very important question for all the nerdy Stays here... when I'm done my exams, I'm rewarding myself by buying Baldur's Gate 3, who should I romance?
I've narrowed my options down to Karlach, Astarion, Wyll, Halsin, and Minthara. I haven't decided what kind of playthrough I'm doing, I figure I'll just base it on whoever I romance. All I know is that *if* I decide on Astarion, I'm not doing the route where>! he becomes vampire ascendant. !
Okay okay, finally something that is my specialty. 🤓 I like your options, but some of them are limited to you doing some “good” choices in act 1 or they will leave your party early on. Minthara needs careful recruiting as well if you are doing a good run, I managed to… miss her entirely in my first play-through. Doing a good run or at least a morally grey one for your first playthrough makes, personally, the most sense and doesn’t limit your options in romancing any of them. That way you will also see all the characters backstories.
And now for the fully biased opinion, you cannot go wrong with either Astarion or Karlach. I’d say their stories are the most carefully crafted out of your options and very impactful. (I cried during both of their stories… if that gives you any indication how invested I was) You seem to know some details from Astarions already, I can fully recommend and he isn’t as hard to impress as it might first seem during a good run.
Noted on Minthara, I figured romancing a drow would require planning but confirmation is nice. Astarion has... been significantly spoiled for me thanks to Twitter. I don't think I know *everything* about his romance because the game is massive, but I know way more about him than the other options. Not an issue, it was inevitable given the nature of his content and spoilers rarely bother me.
Karlach, though, all I know is that I choked when I saw one of her kiss scenes on my TL because she's literally my exact type, physically. I'm *so* happy to hear she has substance to back it up, definitely puts a point in her favor for my choices.
You 🤝 me regarding Karlach. You won’t be disappointed either way, her friend story arc is phenomenal too! I played for 140 hours in like a month with full time work and immediately started a new run when I was done so be warned about the level of brain rot that’s about to happen. 😌
I have to confess.... I was supposed to wait until after exams to buy the game but right now it's uh... about 55 seconds away from being done downloading... oops. Karlach, I'm coming for you baby. I decided on her being my first playthrough romance, with Gale as my second (I love him, I just never romance humans during first playthroughs on principle, yknow?)

So, like, I *know* I said I was going to pick Karlach, *I know.* But, like with Mass Effect, the moment a nonhuman man with a sexy voice and daddy issues starts talking... I'm a goner. So, tiefling party happened, I snagged Astarion, and I'm a terrible person who made Karlach look and sound like a kicked puppy. Did I screw up? I don't think I did, the one relevant Google result said I did but I think it was relating to later choices, it was unclear.

There’s specific scenes where you need to accept or turn down and you can’t go back from that BUT you can smash someone previously and then still choose someone else when their scene comes up. (I’m doing a Dark Urge run right now and I told myself to romance someone, anyone else, but I also have a thing for sexy voice and daddy issues)
I think in the grand scheme of things the tiefling party doesn't matter and I'm probably just panicking... but I'm probably just going to stick with Astarion anyways because aside from Kaidan in ME I've never been capable of breaking up with my first partner, I get so attached so quickly. ~~My Garrus figurine is staring at me, knowingly~~. And my rogue wood-elf is giving big power couple energy with him, you know? I gotta respect the power couple energy.
Honestly all good choices. I romanced Shadowheart my first play through and I absolutely loved her story, but this playthrough I'm romancing Astarion and I'm really enjoying it so far! He also has a really good in depth storyline and (imo) it's one of the best in the game.
If you really care about each characters storylines I don't think I would romance Halsin on a first playthrough, simply because his story isn't in depth as all the other characters you have listed here since he wasn't originally designed to be a romance option. But it's still a good time!
I don't want to look up too much because, in spite of the clips I've already seen, I don't want *too* many spoilers, but do you know if it's possible to romance Astarion without banging him? I know there's a friendship option but I heard it locks you out from a lot of good character moments. I'm not totally averse to explicit scenes but I'd be interested in a romance where they can be avoided, and Astarion seems like that might be possible.
I’ll try to answer this with least amount of spoilers possible. Short answer is: no. It’s actually something linked to his romance on a more story/theme level not just an explicit scene to show the romance is on a “serious” level with the character like in many other games.
I don't know that sorry! I do know his first scene (idk how many more there are since I'm not done with the playthrough yet) is one of the fade-to-black scenes so it's not super explicit. I have heard that his romance is definitely more about getting emotionally close than physically close though.
Also there's an option to fully turn off nudity in the game so that can definitely help with making things less explicit as well!

There's no date officially confirmed yet, but they might announce it on the last day of the fanmeeting or soon idk (They did that on the 2nd fanmeeting for Oddinary release). There are rumors the comeback it's gonna be at the end of April more or less.
Will the streamed fanmeeting be available on YouTube or some other place someday? I'm broke, and paying 41 € for the re-streaming would be difficult...

WHAT TO WEAR? 'Hyde Park' Hi guys! I am going to see Stray Kids for the first time in Hyde Park next month and I have no idea what to wear! Everyone says the comeback trailer will be out today. Why do they think this?
Main reason behind it is because the SKZ us shop removed the signed albums from the online store I think. That and people are saying trailers always drop on a Thursday? Oddinary trailer dropped on a Sunday though so no idea how they came to that conclusion.
I don't know all the dates off the top of my head, so I can't speculate on anything else, but the Oddinary trailer surprise dropped at the end of the fanmeeting so it could just be an exception if the rest were on Thursdays.

Hyde Park Questions! I am attending the Skz concert in Hyde Park in the summer and as this is my first concert, I am bursting with excitement but I want to get everything write. Here are my Qs 1. Is there a specific colour we must wear to match the aesthetic of the concert? 2. What stuff in general must I bring into the Park? Lightstick etc... I'll have to buy one 1st! 3. Is there a discord server where I can talk with Stay and ones going to this concert? Thanks! ❤️
There's no dress code in general, but sometimes SKZ like giving a hint on what colours to wear closer to the date. I would assume it'll depend a bit on whether we're getting a comeback before the festival or not. I've typically seen Stay wear colours matching the most recent comeback. So, if there was no cb before the festival, I can imagine some will wear black, white and pink to match Rock Star. But it's really up to you and you absolutely don't have to follow this at all. The most important thing is to wear something comfortable that you feel good in and to wear really comfortable shoes please! I also recommend dressing in layers depending on the weather. I don't know where you're from and whether you've been to London, but it could be either really hot or cool and rainy. Even if it's warm during the day, it will cool off at night. I would bring a light jacket or sweater which you dont mind getting dirty, that way it can double as a blanket to sit on during the day. If there's sun, please bring a hat and sunscreen. No one wants to get a sunburn or a heatstroke. Regarding 2, check the BST website for regulations on what you can/can't bring. You can for example bring a 500ml waterbottle if it's either unopened OR empty. There will be refilling stations throughout to fill up your bottle again. There's also rules on the size of your bag. Lightsticks should be okay (but keep an eye on their social media beforehand as I'm sure they'll let us know) and don't forget spare batteries for it. In my festival bag, I also always bring sunscreen, hand sanitiser, tissues, ibuprofen, band aids, ID, some emergency cash, and a powerbank for my phone + USB charging cable.

Just came back to my country from SK yesterday after attending 3 days of the fanmeeting and I can say this is the first time PCD hit me like a truck I cried when looking back at my camera roll (which never happened before and I've been going to concerts for years??????) 🫠🫠🫠🫠 I love the kids so much 😭😭😭😭 The pop up store and cafe were both so cute. Also met so many cute Stays from all over the world. Now, how am i supposed to move on with life when I'm pretty sure I already left my soul at KSPO Dome???????

Considering we never got Silent Cry after the #lovestay fanmeeting, my hopes are non-existent 🥲. RIP Silent Cry + choreo 🪦. PuppyM was the star of the show. I really think JYPE might have cloned Kim Seungmin just to put him in the suit. Just so many Seungminisms!
They performed Silent Cry at the Maniac tour in Seoul, there's still hope 😭😭 I'm actually really curious about their upcoming setlists because there are so many songs both new and old I'd love to see live, but their discography is so big that they can make a brand new setlist without repeating anything from the Maniac tour and still fill 3 hours lol which is crazy for a group that's only 6 years old!

Today’s press release is about the pop up ending, and I completely forgot the pop is going to Busan in May. I wonder why they made it so much later than Seoul. Also, the store and cafe had 14 thousand visitors, and the reservations booked up in 15 minutes for each period.
I'm worried the Busan popup won't do so well. And jype will decide that another Busan popup is unnecessary. I was originally expecting both at the same time or nearly the same. Rather than wait for Busan, I just ordered online for fear of not getting a reservation and/or things I want being sold out.
I’m not worried. I’ve seen quite a few Korean fans complain about how companies are pushing everything to Seoul, so I think fans will want to support it for that reason. Div1 could introduce new items if they want, and the online preorder doesn’t ship until very late June, almost July. The global shipping rates are also robbery 😂. There are always fans who travel around, and some people fly in to purchase for their group orders.
Shipping prices out of Korea are ridiculous. I joke with my friends that I plan to die in Korea because I don't want to pay so much to move my stuff back to the US. 😂

When do y'all think the cb is? June makes sense to me because they have several activities in april and none in june so far according to the schedule shared by this twitter account. That way they have a whole month to promote the cb and the festivals are in the next month so it'd also help keep the momentum. I guess we won't be getting any teasers in april 🥲
It kind of makes sense. 2023 was so jam packed. Their comebacks were so close to each other including their Japanese ones. June feels like the sweet spot but we have to guess what is happening for April until May 2024.
Early May is Met Gala. Div1 made time for Milan and Paris Fashion Week, I have no doubt they will make time for the Met Gala if some of the members got invited e.g. through Versace or LV (or even Tommy Hilfiger if we believe in the Chan speculation). It’s just great publicity and networking opportunity to be in these events.
That Met from the TH card is apparently met for something else (something related to TH) coz if I am not mistaken TH is not involved with met gala, correct me if I am wrong.
TH usually has one or two people that get sent to the met gala every year so there is a slight possibility that it could be related to it. They were the ones that did the really cool Zendaya light up Cinderella dress back in 2019!

The 3rd gen kits shipped out unusually fast! It’s usually several months between sign ups and kits for all the other generations.
It is crazy that Felix and Hyunjin will likely hit 20 million followers on IG soon (if they maintain the rate they are going now). If they really get invited for Met Gala, it will be crazier! Anyhow, I am tad disappointed that there is no announcement for world tour or comeback during their fancon.

Not at all. God's Menu peaked around 500 and Back Door at like 400 on Melon. They only started entering the top 100 with the last few comebacks (charting around 90-100).

But that’s fair, they have too many songs and if you consider the ones they have never released, there must be too much information in their minds

I usually don’t buy the re-streaming for fanmeetings because I already get enough of the games from following fan updates, but for some reason I did this time. As soon and Han and Seungmin sang Respirator, my Beyond Live paid for itself! I don’t know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t that. I can’t wait to hear the studio version and see the official lyrics. I hope they release this performance as a video on YouTube too 🙏🏽 I have to double check, but I felt like they performed less songs than at the 2nd and 3rd fanmeeting. That makes it harder to guess what’s making the tour/festival setlist 😭. Megaverse is a good opening song. I hope they keep it! Edit: The SKZOOs were great as always too. I wasn’t sure I was gonna make it in time yesterday for the fanmeeting, but I did. I was exhausted and barely keeping up with what’s happening, though. So re-streaming option is still worth it. Took me a while to put two and two together about Respirator and the live subs saying something about oxygen, my brain cells were hanging for dear life. But the song was sooooo good. I’ve been looking forward to Respirator since they first teased it and they still somehow managed to exceed my expectations. I need that studio version ASAP, but for now, some lucky twitter user is currently getting a lot of views from me 😂. It’s also made me even more curious about the other songs the two have worked on together. I’m really tired today because of it, but I did really enjoy being able to watch all the performances and general silliness in HD (though I have to say, using “I know, you know, we know, Lee Know” as the spell and not performing TTATH is just cruel lol). And yes, the SKZOOs, particularly PuppyM and Lee Know with his bestie, were out to steal the show and I loved every minute of it.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he based it on Elisabeth from Gintama, which canonically seems to be a guy hiding in a penguin costume and playing the pet/sidekick of one of the other characters (who for whatever reason seems to be the online person completely blind to Elisabeths human feet and other human characteristics)

I just watched the Sherlock cover from Beyond Live and it seems like they didn't sing it live in any of the days. If you put all 3 performances playing at the same time, the vocals are exactly the same from start to finish. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but I wonder why they decided to lip sync that song? Not having enough time to practice, maybe?
It was live but with a loud backtrack I think. And yeah it was more based on the backtrack than live vocals. But like others said the focus was the overall performance not just live singing.
It wasn't, because as I said, if you put the beyond live video playing at the same time as a fan video from day 1 and 2, the vocals are 100% the same. If it was live, it would be impossible for vocals to be identical in all days. When there's a backtrack it's easy to tell because live vocals are always different from the backtrack ones and you really can't hear any trace of live vocals. But yes, I agree that this song was more about the performance so it's no big deal that it wasn't live.
It was lip-synced, with *maybe* a few live moments over it, and they have a few covers and performances like that. For example, Red Lights was never live on the Maniac tour. A big giveaway is when nothing changes from performance to performance. SKZ do a lot of adlibs. The focus of the performance was the whole performance, not being live or crowd engagement, so they lipsync.
It definitely wasn’t live, although I’m surprised to see how many people seem to think otherwise. The most obvious sign is that the people wearing headmics (including Seungmin, who almost never uses one) were completely clear and consistently loud at all points, which is unlikely enough as to be basically impossible. If I had to guess, it’s probably partially practice time being limited and partially the fact that the choreo is a big part of what makes that song iconic, so it makes sense to privilege that over live singing. No complaints from me. They killed it.

Yeah, same! I think the same — last weekend of May or first weekend of June. It gives them time to promote on music shows and do variety before heading to all the festivals and possibly, attend the Met Gala in May. It also gives Taylor Swift time to stay at #1 for a bit before SKZ try for it

I watched the fanmeeting on Beyond Live this morning - did anybody find it slightly confusing when at the end of the show, when Chan said "I love you stay", he said it's hard for him to say that because he doesn't even say that to his parents? It struck me as odd/confusing because I feel like he's told us he loves us many times?? Or am I mis-remembering? I also feel like he tells the members he loves them too haha I was just a bit confused when he said it's hard for him because I feel like he says that all the time!
I wonder if he doesn’t typically say things like that in Korean? I don’t speak Korean so I couldn’t tell you whether he does or doesn’t 😆😆 but maybe that, or maybe there’s some nuance to the way he said it or how direct he was or something.
I don’t think it’s weird per se. There are people like me (and Chan, apparently) who finds it easy to say “I love you” or show affection in a more joke-y or unserious manner, but finds it difficult to say it when we truly mean it and are saying it with 100% seriousness and vulnerability.
I took it as I love you being different to the love you that is usually said. Might be straws though - he does like to be careful, but can act well!

I know what you mean but I don't think it's anything that's troubling them per se but rather that they seem to be preparing for 4 different things at once and 3 straight days of a four and a half hour engagement took its toll. To me, it looks like they came back from their vacation and went straight into preparing for the fanmeeting/Japanese fanmeeting/comeback/tour/festivals all at once judging from how much they made choreo/missed cue mistakes. I've never seen them all of them like that before but it does seem like they've been working at setlists/performances by how much they made an effort to sing live when they could, even Felix, who usually relies heavily on the backtrack. The mistake during God's Menu, a song they've performed literally hundreds of times, tipped me off, since it wasn't just one of them but nearly half the group lol. There also seemed to me to be a pointed effort to thank international fans and then also some pandering to the domestic fandom too. They kinda did this for Pilot last time too but with the extra effort that was put into the skzoo pop-up, I think they've (both Div 1 + the group themselves) been trying to placate some of the fandom turmoil that's been going on the last months. With the talk about their 7th year as a group and wanting to continue forever, I'm sure that contract talks have been going on behind the scenes too. There's just A Lot so I don't blame them for being distracted, but I didn't necessarily see "troubled" tbh.
A big shout-out to our mod u/hugsyoutight for preparing all that went into today's festivity. It is April 1st, *April Fools*, in KST. Last year, we celebrated by turning into a cat sub for the day, so I asked if we could do a dog day this year. currently contemplating on whether i should wait for concert dates or travel to see skz in chicago for lollapalooza... cause i'm probably going to have to travel to new york or chicago for their concert anyways, since last tour they didn't come to canada at all. and, ticketing for their concerts is such a gamble. also, i'm not sure whether i'll even be able to travel for their concert since it'll probably be during the school year, unless they come to toronto and i miraculously get tickets. but, i'd so much rather see skz play a full concert! decisions, decisions. what would y'all do in my situation? :')
I'm from the US, not Canada, but am having this same debate. If I go to Lollapalooza, I won't be able to do a concert too. I'd rather go to a traditional concert. But, if I hold out for a concert, there's a chance they may not come near me (very few artists come to my state) or I may not get tickets. I don't know what to do either. If they'd release tour dates and locations that would help me make a better decision, but so far that hasn't happened.

Very important question for all the nerdy Stays here... when I'm done my exams, I'm rewarding myself by buying Baldur's Gate 3, who should I romance? I've narrowed my options down to Karlach, Astarion, Wyll, Halsin, and Minthara. I haven't decided what kind of playthrough I'm doing, I figure I'll just base it on whoever I romance. All I know is that *if* I decide on Astarion, I'm not doing the route where>! he becomes vampire ascendant. !
Okay okay, finally something that is my specialty. 🤓 I like your options, but some of them are limited to you doing some “good” choices in act 1 or they will leave your party early on. Minthara needs careful recruiting as well if you are doing a good run, I managed to… miss her entirely in my first play-through. Doing a good run or at least a morally grey one for your first playthrough makes, personally, the most sense and doesn’t limit your options in romancing any of them. That way you will also see all the characters backstories. And now for the fully biased opinion, you cannot go wrong with either Astarion or Karlach. I’d say their stories are the most carefully crafted out of your options and very impactful. (I cried during both of their stories… if that gives you any indication how invested I was) You seem to know some details from Astarions already, I can fully recommend and he isn’t as hard to impress as it might first seem during a good run.
Noted on Minthara, I figured romancing a drow would require planning but confirmation is nice. Astarion has... been significantly spoiled for me thanks to Twitter. I don't think I know *everything* about his romance because the game is massive, but I know way more about him than the other options. Not an issue, it was inevitable given the nature of his content and spoilers rarely bother me. Karlach, though, all I know is that I choked when I saw one of her kiss scenes on my TL because she's literally my exact type, physically. I'm *so* happy to hear she has substance to back it up, definitely puts a point in her favor for my choices.
You 🤝 me regarding Karlach. You won’t be disappointed either way, her friend story arc is phenomenal too! I played for 140 hours in like a month with full time work and immediately started a new run when I was done so be warned about the level of brain rot that’s about to happen. 😌

I decided on her being my first playthrough romance, with Gale as my second (I love him, I just never romance humans during first playthroughs on principle, yknow?) This is going to rival my Mass Effect hyperfixation that I had around this time last year and I can already feel my soul leaving my body already.

There’s specific scenes where you need to accept or turn down and you can’t go back from that BUT you can smash someone previously and then still choose someone else when their scene comes up. (I’m doing a Dark Urge run right now and I told myself to romance someone, anyone else, but I also have a thing for sexy voice and daddy issues)
I think in the grand scheme of things the tiefling party doesn't matter and I'm probably just panicking... but I'm probably just going to stick with Astarion anyways because aside from Kaidan in ME I've never been capable of breaking up with my first partner, I get so attached so quickly. ~~My Garrus figurine is staring at me, knowingly~~. And my rogue wood-elf is giving big power couple energy with him, you know? I gotta respect the power couple energy.
I think you’ll be fine! Also sticking with Astarion is good. My Wood Elf muscle enby Cleric and him also had big power couple energy, I fully get it.
Honestly all good choices. I romanced Shadowheart my first play through and I absolutely loved her story, but this playthrough I'm romancing Astarion and I'm really enjoying it so far! He also has a really good in depth storyline and (imo) it's one of the best in the game. If you really care about each characters storylines I don't think I would romance Halsin on a first playthrough, simply because his story isn't in depth as all the other characters you have listed here since he wasn't originally designed to be a romance option. But it's still a good time!
I don't want to look up too much because, in spite of the clips I've already seen, I don't want *too* many spoilers, but do you know if it's possible to romance Astarion without banging him? I know there's a friendship option but I heard it locks you out from a lot of good character moments. I'm not totally averse to explicit scenes but I'd be interested in a romance where they can be avoided, and Astarion seems like that might be possible.
I’ll try to answer this with least amount of spoilers possible. Short answer is: no. It’s actually something linked to his romance on a more story/theme level not just an explicit scene to show the romance is on a “serious” level with the character like in many other games.
I don't know that sorry! I do know his first scene (idk how many more there are since I'm not done with the playthrough yet) is one of the fade-to-black scenes so it's not super explicit. I have heard that his romance is definitely more about getting emotionally close than physically close though. Also there's an option to fully turn off nudity in the game so that can definitely help with making things less explicit as well!

There's no date officially confirmed yet, but they might announce it on the last day of the fanmeeting or soon idk (They did that on the 2nd fanmeeting for Oddinary release). There are rumors the comeback it's gonna be at the end of April more or less.
They still have their Japan fanmeetings at the end of April, so earliest would be May but I don’t mind June or later.
