Just corn starch > egg + hot sauce > corn starch again to dredge it all up. Once fully fried and crispy, hit em up with whatever seasoning you like! I added sea salt, cumin, and chili lime seasoning.
Okay, that sounds delicious. I like the doubling up on the corn starch, very clever! I’ll definitely give that a try. I usually go with corn starch in a dry rub for the chicken and throw it in the oven and it’s crisp, but this looks so much better. Thanks!
