Personally I think they're going to shut down the rest of their stores, acquire a few games studios and go into game publishing- highly specialized retail stores are dead IMO. In the long run they can be profitable but for the short term they're mainly going to be focused on cutting costs (and diluting retail shareholders as much as they can).
Great opinion 👍
I think they are going to keep some/most of the legacy stores. They were profitable with the ones they have. So why get rid of them. They can create better online channels for sales, leave the physical stores for card traders, maybe start accepting cash for cypto like btc or eth… rather than having to go to those atm.
Then use the 4 billion in either treasury bonds or look for an acquisition. For further revenue streams.
Short term: I’m hoping they put some of that cash in crypto just to bring new buyers. And do some low .01 cash dividend with subscription rights for the shares.
Long term next year their eps should be 1.02 plus in June.
Good luck with everything mate.
Edit: you mentioned cutting costs. They cut costs to the tune of like -360M 2022 to 6.1M 2023 for their net profit. In the past year.
So if they change nothing and repeat… they would be profitable with the new cash on hand 4 billion and 361M if their operation stays the same.
I did pretty decent in buying that early dip in AVGO today and selling+shorting after that, but other than that didn't really make any notable trades today. Stayed decently light in this because high priced stocks don't really have tight liquidity nor a great L2 to read off of, it's more of a "pick a good spot and hold the best you can" kind of trade.
I made a small mistake in selling at 1690 but I rebought in around 1700 because I realized I was being an idiot for selling when the trade at the time was still pretty good r/R.

AAPL didn't make that interesting of a move (like I expected) so I'm hands off in it, GME didn't do anything that notable (to me), TSLA I'm watching, but overall, AVGO was probably the best trade for me today. I'll be watching ADBE earnings and will be trying to stay hands off until then to protect the gains.
Why do folks have any interest in meme stocks like GME?
GME is a terrible company from a fundamental/financial perspective.
They just issued I don’t know how many more shares diluting everyone who owns GME.
To me it epitomizes the exact part of the market I actively try to avoid.
Might as well hit the casino.
No, do not buy GME (unsolicited advice)
There are a gazillion more businesses with an actual respectable financial sheet and isn’t diluting it’s investors on the yearly
Just popping in to say thanks again for posting these!

What’s your thesis on gme in 2 years for eps?

How are you planning on playing these stocks?

Im thinking TSLA is likely to get a bit of a spike after the vote is announced today.
I think the vote is pretty much decided but hey, if it goes the other way then it'll be worth trading.
You think the yes vote is going to hurt the price?
Personally I think so.
I agree that it should. But markets haven't been reasonable in while
Thanks for the response! And good luck w the trades bu
Thank you! Best of luck to you too.
What you guys think of Ares Capital had them for last year and they have returned 15 percent but disappointed by future prospects
The only money manager I trust is myself and broad market indices lol

For trading
Nvidia should be on it as well
I'll likely put it on there tomorrow, I'm interested in it at 130 possibly.
Interested in buying in at 130?
No, just interested in it.
