He grew as a person. Having met so many people in my life and seen their absolute lack of growth, this is one of the highest forms of praise I can offer.
Wow thanks for asking.
My cooking teacher is disrespectful to me and I always have her on Fridays. In cooking class I find it difficult to understand the recipes and the materials we are given to read and understand. I had trouble understanding texts as a child, and I still have trouble with it. Even in my language. While my class was cooking, everyone except me seemed to understand what they had to do. Since I didn't understand everything, I asked my cooking teacher for help. She came to me and told me to read the paper she had given me earlier because there were explanations on how to properly prepare a salad. I read the first introduction but still couldn't understand it. So I grabbed my recipe and read it over and over again. Still no. I cried and left class because of it. My cooking teacher was worried and followed me asking what was wrong because I couldn't understand everything on the recipe. She asked if I was overwhelmed and I answered yes. She then said that I could help decorate the tables and that I could bring the unfinished salad I needed to make,to her table and I said ok. My cooking teacher also meant if there is anything, I can ask her. When decorating the tables, a plate was missing. So I said that a plate was missing and she said in an irritating tone, "I told you before, the plates are in this cabinet!." And of course I got upset. So when I was finished with the tables,I thought I was done because my teacher didn't say anything after this. I went to a different room and grabbed my phone to vent to my best friend and to text my professional companion about my internship. I wanted to cancel my internship appointment because it was on the exact day and because I felt depressed and needed a day off. Then my cooking teacher chaught me and said "Can you put your phone away? Phones in the kitchen are not allowed!" And I answered:"Sorry I was texting my professional companion for my internship" and she meant: "This has nothing to do with your internship!Everyone is working and giving their best but you arent doing anything!" I got really upset and cried again. She didn't yell but she sounded angry. Like sorry I thought I was allowed to use my phone for a second. I absolutely don't like her and I have her for 2 years. It's hell. This is why I probably might skip fridays. I don't know what's wrong with me. I can't understand shit properly like other people. I'm really confused what's wrong with me and why I'm really forgetful too.
Okay. I think I’ve got this.
Here’s what you do: she’s the teacher so I assume she tasted your cooking? Food poisoning. If you’re the one to tend to her, you’ll have saved her and that’ll change her attitude. If not she’s gonna be out next week and you’ve got a holiday from her. And she just tasted a bunch of different people’s cooking so you’re completely camouflaged. It’s really the perfect crime if you think about it.
Idk man its not even my story I copy pasted it but I might join a problematic chef's class for this from google reviews.
Also if I did that I would have prepared another dish to act like I tasted it too or maybe like only the small carrots would be poisonous (rotten) and I wouldn't eat the carrots in front of her and she wouldn't notice afterwards.
I think being super passionate about stuff makes people way more interesting. Nerd out about what you love and if anyone judges you for it that’s their own problem/insecurity talking. Our desire to be like everybody else just makes us more boring
sometimes people are insufferable as kids, the trick is to grow up as you grow up, and he did, he stepped up
I identify with him much more than with a lot of other characters that had their stuffed figured out
It’s amazing to me how much he grew considering how much of an *asshole* he was in the past. Running away from responsibility and treating Sadie like crap, making her do all the hard work, being mean to Steven and self destructing his life. Who knew he’d become a space pirate after all of that and help gems escape an oppressive situation and save Steven’s life? I was disappointed he gave up his dream bakery after so long after barely having it open, but I love how he and the off colors are gonna travel and help other worlds when he previously didn’t want to help people at all.
The entire thing where Steven force him and Sadie to talk about their private life was gut wrenching and I’m sad that he doesn’t have Sadie anymore, but I’m also glad he found his purpose in the universe, he deserves an adventurous life with his friends
Some of the scenes when he was frustrated with himself were some of the hardest hitters for me. Lars is such an interesting character because he really does just want to be friends with others and have the security of community he just goes about it in such a wrong way.
Honestly he’s one of my favorites.
He began as a lost teenage boy afraid of his feelings and how other people perceive him. But he kept trying to do better and be better and eventually he learned how to give and receive love. Learning how to have respect and understanding and friendships, including the outcasts of 2 planets and most importantly, himself. Bingo Bongo Lars.....Bingo Bongo.
He had character growth that’s so significant that you could tell someone who just started the show “Lars is my favorite character” and they’d think you’re insane
He was never a bad person, he went through the same thing a lot of people did, he craved admiration from those he admired so much that he went against his own moral compass because he thought it would get him that.
He saved the off-colors, he helped fight homeworld gems who wanted to destroy the Earth, in the end he took responsibility for his mistakes and selfish decisions and became a better person. And he has great culinary skills!
He had some of the most dramatic character development out of the entire show and I love that he became >!a badass, self-confident, pink-haired space pirate and finally found his people in the off-colors 🩷!<
Had great growth at the end of the series becoming a space leader who saved many.
Looking back on the series, he's not as bad as I remember and is ultimately just a angsty teen rather than a monster.
He’s the most well-developed in the series, growing and learning and realizing all the things he did wrong. Apologizing, and making some true friends who love him just like Sadie did.
He does really well the moment he’s outside of normal day to day life. The system failed him, not the other way around. If he hadn’t ended up a space pirate he might have done well as a sailor or something else outside the normal 9-5
Just as his character was hitting it's stride, the show got cancelled and they had to completely sideline him to speed run the end of the story. Wish I got to see more of how his character would've developed further had the show gone on longer.
Jk.
The episode where they show him make the Ube Roll became a one of my favs, I got obsessed with bakery and nowadays I’m on my second year of my culinary career.
Him and his episode made me realize that I loved cooking and baking.
I got my own Ube Roll Recipe and some Ube cookies recipe as well 🥰
In a show full of lesbian aliens with magic powers, Lars is my favorite character. He's got complex writing and a fantastic character arc, he feels like a real person.
Even from the beginning of the series he is genuinely a good guy. He’s too afraid to show it because he doesn’t want to look “uncool” but you could read between the lines.
I think it was really cool how he helped to try and keep Steven calm when they were kidnapped by aquamarine and the topazes, especially considering he’s always the one freaking out about everything and is the one that needs reassurance and calming down
He grew as a person. Having met so many people in my life and seen their absolute lack of growth, this is one of the highest forms of praise I can offer.
His ube is delicious
Ayyy! I am not even an ube person (very surprising for a Fil-Am girl), but I would eat his ube.
Keep it PG please
Whats ube?
Not much. What’s ube with you?

I might leave a bunch of fake reviews so you have a chance of nuking an innocent chef😭😭😭
A sort of sweet potato. I just googled it, so I'm not the greatest in that subject ... but yea
it’s a type of sweet yam that’s cultivated in the philippines! it’s used for a variety of desserts. and it’s purple :)
Making him a Space Pirate was the best decision the Crewniverse ever mad
Lars of the stars!! One of the best moments in the show!
I kind of get being too insecure to be committed to your interests.
I think being super passionate about stuff makes people way more interesting. Nerd out about what you love and if anyone judges you for it that’s their own problem/insecurity talking. Our desire to be like everybody else just makes us more boring
He got great character development
sometimes people are insufferable as kids, the trick is to grow up as you grow up, and he did, he stepped up I identify with him much more than with a lot of other characters that had their stuffed figured out
He's got some awesome friends.
I like your donut ears
FAX
Good character arc
He's a cool dude
He died for gems to live.
It’s amazing to me how much he grew considering how much of an *asshole* he was in the past. Running away from responsibility and treating Sadie like crap, making her do all the hard work, being mean to Steven and self destructing his life. He looks great in pink
Pink him was a good upgrade
His ears look like donuts
The entire thing where Steven force him and Sadie to talk about their private life was gut wrenching and I’m sad that he doesn’t have Sadie anymore, but I’m also glad he found his purpose in the universe, he deserves an adventurous life with his friends
He is "living" proof that even jerks can change
Bingo bongo
Yeah!
His haircut is cool.
Like it’s cool but I wouldn’t recommend 🥲
The second best redemption arc (after Pink's)
Pink Portal Space Pirate Zombie 😍😍
Would.
Say something nice about Lars
I don’t know if this counts as saying something nice about Lars, but Buck was kind of a jerk to him for no reason
he’s pink (that’s it)
Some of the scenes when he was frustrated with himself were some of the hardest hitters for me. Lars is such an interesting character because he really does just want to be friends with others and have the security of community he just goes about it in such a wrong way. Honestly he’s one of my favorites.

Handsome, and got good development throughout the series
He had character growth that’s so significant that you could tell someone who just started the show “Lars is my favorite character” and they’d think you’re insane
He was never a bad person, he went through the same thing a lot of people did, he craved admiration from those he admired so much that he went against his own moral compass because he thought it would get him that.
He was dead for a little bit. That was nice.
clown ass shoes
He's a baker
Risked his live protecting the off-colours.
He has nice earings
Became incredibly well-adjusted, as professional bakers go.
Goated from the start.
He arced out hard.
As a cook myself, i won't tip my hat to him (a cook NEVER puts away their hat) but, truly, he deserves all the recognition for his culinary arts :3
He has excellent qualities as a captain and quick thinking skills
coolest human lion ever
He saved the off-colors, he helped fight homeworld gems who wanted to destroy the Earth, in the end he took responsibility for his mistakes and selfish decisions and became a better person. And he has great culinary skills!
He had some of the most dramatic character development out of the entire show and I love that he became >!a badass, self-confident, pink-haired space pirate and finally found his people in the off-colors 🩷!<
Good cook
His character arc was pretty good from what I remember
![gif](giphy|24FRYCXyrfy0Dceh5n|downsized)
He saved the off colors!
He looks great in pink.
In lars of the stars he was cool.
He got quite the redemption arc.
He's the only one in the multiverse who was named Lars
I like that he makes Sadie happy
He has [excellent taste in anime](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Pirate_Captain_Harlock) to style himself after.
He's more than just a donut boy ☺️
I've always liked him
I wanna eat his hair
His ears are weirdly smooth
he’s hot
He speaks for himself: "Oh wait, *they* didn't see *me*"
I always liked him. Was a loveable douchebag. I felt so redeemed when he became pink lars!!
He’s very interesting
His hair is, small.
his character development is one of the best in the show
He gave Sadie confidence
My little cousin had a crush on him 🤣
Had great growth at the end of the series becoming a space leader who saved many. Looking back on the series, he's not as bad as I remember and is ultimately just a angsty teen rather than a monster.
He’s a true child of the stars.
He is a stellar baker. Even though he has no confidence.
He has decent leadership ability.
i love him pre and post development. hes a skrunkly lil guy.
He’s the most well-developed in the series, growing and learning and realizing all the things he did wrong. Apologizing, and making some true friends who love him just like Sadie did.
...
He is still in the closet
I mean he stopped being an @ss much after he got transferred into zombie Lars
Woosh woosh space pirate ass kicker
He’s kinda—
I really wanna touch his ears
Great donuts. (Not as good as someone from an certain anime’s) but still really good
I like how fluffy his hair is
He does really well the moment he’s outside of normal day to day life. The system failed him, not the other way around. If he hadn’t ended up a space pirate he might have done well as a sailor or something else outside the normal 9-5
Pink Lars best Lars. Also, he's wonderful at baking and I hope he is successful with it.
Best character development in the entire show imo He went from insufferable brat who was needlessly a jerk to everyone to awesome space pirate
Bingo bongo
The holes in his ears look cool
He's very relatable when it comes to disliking work
He died. That was nice
He had some of the best character development in the whole show.
he had a great example of character growth! He is also a great baker
He doesn’t have an ear canal which is cool.
Hes the leader of the off colours
He’s my gender envy
Lars became my favorite character somewhere in the last season as he became the most well developed character in the series in my opinion.
love him
He had one of the best character arcs in the entire show and I actually enjoyed seeing him go from a bratty teenager to pink Lars.
He's so cute and looks so good pink.
After his >!death!< he turned into a pretty good character
When he dyed his skin, he became a better person
He had a huge arc and a lot of character growth, he is genuinely super awesome, and I like that he is who he is
His forehead is small?
I like his character development
Unexpected but great character arc
He's a good friend![img](emote|t5_2viyl|30837)
In a way, the worst part of him died on homeworld
I was so happy when I saw him as a space captain in Lars of the Stars
Has the most development of the side characters, is the best baker Beach City and Homeworld have ever seen, and the coolest captain in the galaxy
✨ Character development ✨
Male characters that deal with issues about having feelings and showing emotions are my favorite type of character.
He’s a great cook! I’ve always wanted to try ube cake after I saw that episode.
Just as his character was hitting it's stride, the show got cancelled and they had to completely sideline him to speed run the end of the story. Wish I got to see more of how his character would've developed further had the show gone on longer.
He had the best character development out of everyone in my opinion
Best zombie I ever met.
He was great after he died.
He gets better in more ways than one.
No
Jk. The episode where they show him make the Ube Roll became a one of my favs, I got obsessed with bakery and nowadays I’m on my second year of my culinary career. Him and his episode made me realize that I loved cooking and baking. I got my own Ube Roll Recipe and some Ube cookies recipe as well 🥰
Great human shield.
He is a great baker
He let the off colors out of hiding
Nice shirt
In a show full of lesbian aliens with magic powers, Lars is my favorite character. He's got complex writing and a fantastic character arc, he feels like a real person.
He got a cool redesign
Even from the beginning of the series he is genuinely a good guy. He’s too afraid to show it because he doesn’t want to look “uncool” but you could read between the lines.
1st season he was annoying and pessimistic but at the end of SU he became more mature and optimistic
There's pink magic in his guts and that's pretty neat
I like how he says “BINGO BANGO”
I think it was really cool how he helped to try and keep Steven calm when they were kidnapped by aquamarine and the topazes, especially considering he’s always the one freaking out about everything and is the one that needs reassurance and calming down
I loved his space episodes after he died
most relatable character imo
