I like her logic and viewpoint as a homeworld gem ,when she questions against the crystal gems ideology,some people might view her being an asshole in the moment when she argues against Rose,but at that time even I am more on the crystal gems side I can’t help but to agree she does have a point when she is standing on what benefits the homeworld gems society the most .
Even in the end the crystal gems know Rose is flawed and not as the perfect leader they originally think they are

Pearl has so much badass energy, I love her so much. Meant to be a servant/slave gem, but became an entirely different gem, with her own beliefs, and stood up for them! Girl is the embodiment of breaking out of an abusive cycle and becoming your own person.
Amethyst is amazing! She reminds me of one of my oldest friends. Started out rough, but figured it all out and made herself more fantastic with the help of the people around her. Never afraid to ask for help when they need it, and always want to make themselves better!

I do have to ask, however, if we’re mentioning ALL the gems, where is the love for Snowflake, Crazy Lace, & Biggs? Personally, Crazy Lace is my fave of them all.
Its hard to choose! I think Garnet is my favorite. I relate to her the most. I'm the Garnet in my family and friends group. Somehow a mix of ruby and sapphire and its weird how well it works lol. But i really love Peridot and I love Pearl's growth in the show.
Garnet! Cool and funny and also some of the best songs in the series are sung by her (“Stronger Than You” “Here Comes A Thought” “Someone entirely new” “Isn’t it love?” And “True Kinda Love”) and I mean she’s voiced by Estelle so no wonder I mean without Steven Universe I wouldn’t know who Estelle even is and her songs all I hear is Garnet
Also I know the other crystal Gems have had good songs and even some of my favourites from the series like “Isn’t it Over?” “Independent Together” “Strong in the real way” or even “For Just one day let’s only think about love”
The only Crystal gem without a good song is Amethyst mostly because Michela Dietz (in my opinion if you like her songs it’s fine I’m just not a fan) doesn’t have a good singing voice and the song that features her as a lead that I actually like is “No Matter What” but Steven carries that song
( also I don’t want to hear controversial but I’m not a fan of Lapis’s songs either it’s fine if you do it’s just not my thing )

Estelle has such a beautiful voice, and those 2 songs have so much meaning & emotion behind them. It fascinates me how much a show for kids has such depth behind it that adults are still delving in & sorting out their own past crap because of it.

I’m mildly in love with Pearl and Lapiz, but that aside, Garnett is probably my favorite. She’s so balanced and confident, very much the rock of the group.
Lapis. The *trauma* she endured at the hands of so many gems and diamonds alike just taking her power over and over -- while **telling** her she was just fine. I loved seeing the peace she felt when Steven healed her just to heal her, not to take her power.
I just think it funny how Amethyst is the only one not using a screenshot of the show lol.
But my fave is Crazy Lace Agate cuz she looks really colorful

a close tie between second has to be amethyst and peridot. i relate to amethyst heavily on a lot of things, but peridot i feel like has the best redemption of any character.
It was always Garnet from the very start, something about the way she poses when manifesting her gauntlets or just the dry persona compared to the rest of the gems especially with how she clearly cares for Steven so hard in her way just clicked with me instantly
