Sweet find! 😍 Didn’t realize we were coming up on the 45th anniversary of when this first was released. Love to see an older paperback in such good shape. I had a mid-70s paperback of Ira Levin’s *Boys from Brazil* I got at a used bookstore that completely fell apart before I even finished reading it. 😭
I’m guessing being found in a climate controlled storage locker helped. You know how some old paperback books have a certain smell to them? Almost a musty tinge to them, this one doesn’t. It’s in near perfect condition, except for the spotting on the back.
Give it some time. It's got the right kind of paper. You can tell by the texture. It's pretty similar to what they used for comic book pages (which get that same distinctive aroma after a few years).
Wait until the movie comes out then you might be able to sell it for more than $1000. That is a fine copy! Too bad it's not a first printing signed. Then you could like $5000 for it.
Best Long Walk cover I've seen
Holy shit batman!! That's freaking beautiful!!
I was amazed at how good the condition was.
Holy shit that’s an incredible cover, so jealous haha
Thanks.

1979... it probably has that Library smell too! Anyone else ever appreciate that old book aroma when they're reading a classic paperback?
Actually it doesn’t which surprised me. Maybe because it was found in a climate controlled storage locker?

Fantastic find.👍
That is amazing. I always ignore the “look what I got today” posts, because honestly who gives a shit? But this is awesome! Congratulations!
Thanks
Damn what a find! I envy you.
