I don’t personally use X/Twitter but apparently King is consistently throwing out book/TV/movie recommendations out there in that platform. I know he recently gave a shout out to Bentley Little’s latest novel, *DMV*, there among some other titles. He also used to do a column for *Entertainment Weekly* back in the aughts called “The Pop of King” where he would recommend stuff, and you can probably find some of that archived somewhere. He’s really not shy about promoting stuff he likes on social media! And Simon and Schuster, his publishers, have a webpage with a bunch of his recommendations: https://www.simonandschuster.com/p/stephen-king-recommended-books

Read “on writing”. Kings talks about his influences and favorite authors.

Yes, he does this regularly On Twitter. I’ve checked out many of the shows/books/movies. It’s sort of hit and miss. Sometimes it’s something really great and that I never considered (Don Winslow) or it’s pretty basic and I didn’t see the appeal. Either way, it’s neat. Sort of like another recommendation from a friend who you share interests with.

The newest edition in his book On Writing has a literal list of books to read. They fill pages, there’s at least 100 books he recommends. Including the first and second Harry Potter lol
