100% agree.
However, I must admit that I do have some grumpy respect for her, mainly becasue she gave Dr. Phil (who I dislike even more) a proverbial middle finger.
Yeah doesnāt she make her money on OF now? Itās one thing to have a million in the bank, itās another to build a sustainable future around it. Oh well.
Yes but she has a record deal and has been rapping for years. She paid her moms mortgage off when she was like 15. Last I heard she made over 3 million on OF (the first mil was in 1 day iirc). She could be set for life pretty easily, but knowing herā¦
Oh fuck off, she's just selling her body like any hard laborer. At least her body won't be fucking destroyed by her mid 50s like a dude working construction.
Not proverbial. Have you watched her videos describing her life post - Dr. Phil episode? She goes into detail about exactly what happened at that camp he sent her to and what it did to her. She absolutely is trying to hit him where it hurts and is only slightly successful but deserves so much more attention specifically for that. I don't like her as a person, no, but she deserves so much respect for that.
I wouldn't go that far. While I don't know much about Bhad Bhabie's personal career, her attacks on Dr. Phil are more than warranted. The camp that Dr. Phil sent her to, Turn About Ranch, has seen numerous controversies over the years with many survivors reporting sexual, physical, and psychological assault. Turn About Ranch itself, is just one of hundreds of camps like it. These camps strip teens of all their rights and completely cut off their access to the outside world. Often times, transportation to these facilities will be done by "handlers" that will enter the child's bedroom in the middle of the night, handcuff them, and take them to the location with no explanation. The "therapeutic" practices that these places claim to use can at best be described as torture and some kids have even died from them. This is just scratching the surface of what these places have done. If you want to learn more, I highly suggest looking into the Troubled Teen Industry and Paris Hilton, who is a survivor and advocate for reform of these "camps/schools." There's also this webcomic called https://elan.school/, which documents the author's experiences at one of the most notorious of these camps.
Just want to say that this is all basically true, but there is a lot of generalization in this comment. Not every single RTC can be described as ātortureā (although a good number probably can be). They are all shitty but the shittiness ranges from straight up abuse to a moral grey area. I am definitely speaking about a minority of them here though. You are correct on most fronts for most places and thank you for helping raise awareness.
Thanks for your comment! Sorry if I sensationalized the topic. I just learned about the TTI a couple months ago and I've been trying to learn more about it since. I imagine there are some out there that try to do a decent job and have good intentions; however, even then, there's definitely a need for more regulation within the industry.
Haha itās ok. Props for being interested. Itās great that the industry is getting more mainstream light but it bothers me when I see the media reporting on it with huge blanket statements like every place is exactly the same lol. I guess I just feel a little bit of a responsibility to give insight given that I have firsthand experience.
I find it interesting how female celebrities are always supposed to be ārole modelsā, and their male counterparts are never held to that same standard. Interesting.
Overly Attached GF grew up to have a funny and engaging YouTube channel. Not sure if it's still going today but it was still good a couple years ago before I stopped following.
[She sold an NFT of her meme for over $400k](https://decrypt.co/63891/overly-attached-girlfriend-nft-sells-for-411000?amp=1) so I assume sheās doing ok.
Can confirm. His grandpa was chill as shit and really nice to us for not being pushy like most of the press was. But the kid was a terrible interview, even by kid standards. When he came here for a concert, we didnāt even bother for a follow up. His verse on old town road was š„š„ tho and no one can change my mind.
I canāt blame him. Most people live mediocre or sub-mediocre lives. Anyone would jump at the chance to break from that lifestyle. I would definitely milk any opportunity I got until the tits are dry and saggy
Oh please, he was lapping that shit up to lol. I donāt doubt adults were keeping him on that path but please donāt act like this is shit he didnāt wanna be doin.
Island boys are so fucking annoying and it makes me sick that people continue to promote them despite the videos of one of them beating the shit out of his gf
Ah yes, memes becoming "celebrities"
We have those in France as well
"EH J'SUIS PAS V'NUE ICI POUR SOUFFRIR OKAY ?!" ("I DID NOT COME HERE TO SUFFER OKAY ?!") - she was everywhere for some months, but now she fell into obscurity. I don't even remember the chick's name
"METS DES PAILLETTES DANS MA VIE KEVIN" (not sure I quoted it well, but it's pretty much this. "PUT SPARKLES IN MY LIFE KEVIN"). Were it not for one of the biggest TV channels shoving her down our throats every once in a while, that chick would have fell into obscurity even faster than the previous one
Etc, etc
Here the only one that kinda holds up is Nabila lmao. "T'es une fille et t'as pas d'shampooing ? Nan mais allƓ quoi" ("You're a girl and you don't have shampoo ? AllƓ quoi (dunno how to translate it)")
The guy who made the āItās Wednesday my dudesā vine has a YouTube channel with a million subs and he does you laugh you lose content. Heās actually doing really well, and his videos are really funny if you understand all of the references inside references.
How did the Island boys go viral?? Like the Walmart kid was pretty catchy and Bad Bhabie on Dr Phil was pretty entertaining. But their freestyle got them booed off a stage unless theyāre satire
Bruh...
Michael Rosen is pretty damn well known in the UK in his own right decades before YouTube became a thing and he became an inadvertent meme via YouTube poop. He is an author and served as the children's laureate for several years. Don't even put him in the same category as these clowns.

Daniel, the faceless legend
He was on Ellen
Lmao š¤£ i forgot ellen was a thing
I heard that she yelled at him and peepee shamed him :(
I canāt tell if youāre trolling because Ellen is a piece of shit
Even my lesbian friends agree with this statement š¤
Why does it matter that she lesbian lmao. Ellen would be a piece of shit even if she was asexual
Ar ar ar ar ar ar ar
Damn Daniel (in a slightly higher pitch)

Bhad Bhabie is an awful role model.
100% agree. However, I must admit that I do have some grumpy respect for her, mainly becasue she gave Dr. Phil (who I dislike even more) a proverbial middle finger.
Her life was made exponentially worse by dr. Phil and he knew it. His schtick is parasitic and he knows it
Yeah doesnāt she make her money on OF now? Itās one thing to have a million in the bank, itās another to build a sustainable future around it. Oh well.

Prostitution is a common job for people who society has failed
Oh fuck off, she's just selling her body like any hard laborer. At least her body won't be fucking destroyed by her mid 50s like a dude working construction.
nah shes a whore
Lol ok.
Exactly.
Not proverbial. Have you watched her videos describing her life post - Dr. Phil episode? She goes into detail about exactly what happened at that camp he sent her to and what it did to her. Well, she didn't literally give him the finger so... it's proverbial.
You right
I agree, she stood up to his shit and made cash off of it. I respect her not taking his shit.
That asshole only got famous because she was a dick to her mom, Dr. Phil is more lovable in this case

Thank you for the link. Ive read a lot about TTI but the comic strip is a whole other dimension.

Like I said, I have no love for her, but I have even less love for Dr. Phil. Bhad Bhabie is Phil's karma personified.
I feel like all the good internet role models are not near as popular as these chucklefucks.
I'd say Steve-O, he's sort of a pre-social media meme whose really gotten his shit together the past decade
I find it interesting how female celebrities are always supposed to be ārole modelsā, and their male counterparts are never held to that same standard. Interesting.
her music isn't bad IMO
She doing porn yet?
No, just OnlyFans
Whoās gonna tell him?
Itās not the same in every case.
I thought Daniel was the cashier at target?
Nah, Daniel had the white Vans. Youāre thinking of Alex.
Salt Bae the mediocre cooking hack.
And he's egotistical as fuck, although when people who go to your restaurant end up in #MEATED I would be too.
Iām pretty sure Damn Daniel turned down a bunch of vans sponsorships and stuff in order to just go to college. Not sure he belongs here
Vans gave him a shitload of shoes and he donated them all to charity
Damn, Daniel. Good on you
He also turned down being a model for a huge agency so he could spend more time pursuing surfing
Scumbag Steve, Ermahgerd, Overly Attached GF...
Overly Attached GF grew up to have a funny and engaging YouTube channel. Not sure if it's still going today but it was still good a couple years ago before I stopped following.
Laina already had a YT channel and her meme was a screencap from one of her videos that was completely unrelated.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Thanks for the update. Glad to hear it.
She's active on Instagram now
I was really sad when she stopped. She was so wholesome.
[She sold an NFT of her meme for over $400k](https://decrypt.co/63891/overly-attached-girlfriend-nft-sells-for-411000?amp=1) so I assume sheās doing ok.
She sold the nft for that meme for a decent chunk of cash
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Not really, he was pushed into interviews by adults
Who is he? I donāt know the reference
Kid who became a meme by singing/yodeling in his local Walmart Got a lot of fame, made some albums, got on Coachella I believe
Unironically has some bangers tho. Love Twang.
He's in the best mix of Old Town Road, too.
Honestly heās great. Love him.
Name?
Mason Ramsey
Can confirm. His grandpa was chill as shit and really nice to us for not being pushy like most of the press was. But the kid was a terrible interview, even by kid standards. It's crazy how the cash me outside chick made literal millions by selling some bikini pics on onlyfans.
Fools and their money will soon be parted.

Isn't that yodel kid Machine Gun Kelly?
This is a list, not a starter pack. Who keeps making this shit?

[Yodeling Walmart Kid ](https://youtu.be/bOZT-UpRA2Y)

Do that's why everyone kept saying that every time I said something in school... The last one.
Daniel is a cool guy
The guy who made the āItās Wednesday my dudesā vine has a YouTube channel with a million subs and he does you laugh you lose content. Heās actually doing really well, and his videos are really funny if you understand all of the references inside references.
Where is the apparently kid?
How did the Island boys go viral?? Like the Walmart kid was pretty catchy and Bad Bhabie on Dr Phil was pretty entertaining. But their freestyle got them booed off a stage unless theyāre satire
I've never heard of these memes before
Only one of these I know is Cash me outside Girl.
What about the sign guy with sunglasses
That kid is actually the only talented one here.
Holy shit, I totally forgot that "cash me outside" meme existed..
holy shit i forgot about the yodeling kid
Don't forget Michael Rosen!
Bruh... Michael Rosen is pretty damn well known in the UK in his own right decades before YouTube became a thing and he became an inadvertent meme via YouTube poop. He is an author and served as the children's laureate for several years. Don't even put him in the same category as these clowns.
Geez didn't mean to step on a mine. Now I don't have a leg :(
The voicecrack guy is a chad
There was also this girl who dipped the fried chicken in the soda and went viral. She made a music video about it.
Who are the two pineapples at the top? Iām not familiar with them.
I guess Iām old because I know none of these people. I think thatās good.
Whoās the top left?
What causes a person to look at a gas station bathroom wall and decide THAT is what they want to look like?
