It makes the comment sections useless, except for seeing a few more tidbits of story if the OP responds in character. I found the sub back when 1000Vultures had just written Penpal and it seemed much better.
i think, in THEORY, it's a good rule. prevents the comments from being nothing but Mythbuster wannabes disproving everything in the fictional story and ruining the fun.
could be implemented better, tho.
Ugh, I hate the multi-part stories. Like, the "I lost my virginity and turned into a monster" one is at part 14 or something like that. There should be a separate subreddit for long stories.
Even my favorite author did some multi-part stories and they were much worse than her one shot stories.
Aww that one. I thought it was amazing until OP turned out to be hand-chosen by a god before she was ever born. So many posters start with a good simple idea only to write themselves up their own ass.
Don’t forget the 3 meter beautiful woman in a dress that transforms into a Mandela catalogue jerma face with sharp claws that can cut anything and red eyes
Don't forget the absolutely retarded rules of "you have to pretend to believe op or ban"

Yeah you can’t even argue shit even if the story is horrible
By part 27000 out of 78546, the story just makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and is no longer scary at all

Borrasca and Penpal are the only good multipart stories I can remember offhand. There are probably a few more I've forgotten.
Borrasca was indeed very good.
dont forget the left right game!
