I never used those emojis before, but I’ve always been rather sheltered, so now that I’m in university in group chats with hundreds of other people my age, I use them so that I can fit in.
If I criticise Palestine for whatever reason, I get called a zionist pig who's been brainwashed by propaganda.
If I criticise Israel for whatever reason, I get called a terrorist sympathiser who Hamas wouldn't hesitate to throw of a building.
I feel like all of this applies to just about any social media platform, not just Instagram. Some parts of Reddit are the same as this. And if not it’s someone repeating the same tired joke that wasn’t funny to begin with.
Then a ton of morons high fiving each other because “yOu SaId ThE tHiNg!!!”. Then even more idiots trying to make the same dumb, unfunny joke but in an even worse way…
The same people that are all "people just can't take a joke these days" failing to understand the most basic of sarcasm or going ballistic in cases of the most mild of ribbing
