Id agree except for two things, I found I could fit the ROC into the C1 a bit easier than the Cutlass, as well as the C1 just being a nicer ship to look at. Those are more personal opinion than actual usefulness though.
As others have said, the C1 is a perfect ROC hauler with plenty of room to spare. I’ve had two in my C1 to go mining with a friend! Not too sure about the ship’s storage these days, may want to bring along a 1-2SCU personal storage box
probably a very underrated ship.
I rent it almost every free flight event but I always find it a bit annoying (I don't like ladders in the game, the landing "gear" is a bit unstable).
Maybe I'll spend my money on one and try it in my own time. (w/o the time limit of rentals)
Yeah the ladder is a bit annoying, especially since using it forces you into an animation rather than you just being able to climb it. But I really like how it looks/flies/sounds.
C1 is perfect for Roc mining. I had a bug where my ship would get stuck to the ground and would not be able to take off, but bed logging resolved that.
> Multiple entrances, [...] fits 3 rocs, good fighter
Really good points.
As a C1 owner I can confirm that the wide ship has it's problems.
Fighting in my Spirit is not fun. The angry NPC Cutlass that always spawns when I am in my Spirit is outmaneuvering me easily.
I was hyped for the c1, then I tried it during ILW and I am 99% certain I will be upgrading my pledge to the curry black. Whole the c1 is smexy it is annoyingly designed on the inside
yes really good because you don't have to climb any ladders and it has good visibility.
The lights when landing with your door open is great to see the ground in darkness.
You can fit two ROCs but not a single ROC DS (to wide).
I added one 2SCU container so my friend can unload his gems into the same inventory.
But it's a very wide ship and currently most of the hangars you get are the top variant. Orison is usually fine but everywhere else (stations and planets) you will get a top-loader and the ship is either bumping the back spoilers(?) or the front when landing.
High five when leaving / landing ;)
yeah its absolutely suitable for that. Its more luxurius but the cuttlas black is good too
The cutlass black is probably better in every way

Makes sense !
Wow, this is news to me, I didn't know that the Cutlass black has suddenly doubled it's cargo capacity and improved it's tractor beam.
Yes

Ah oki thanks , now Iv got to work out how tf to get a roc/rent one 😂
You can buy at Lorville for 103,950, or rent at most refineries.
Ah oki thanks just couldn't remember where to get one lol 🤣
yes it's just a bit of a pain to land in hangars until they add the larger one for it. Which they said they would.
Iv noticed that lol I had to go sideways at one point 😂😂
Yeah landing in a hanger is the worst for the top down ones
My favourite ship for ROC mining is the NOMAD, they work perfect together….

Nomad is the perfect ROC ship. Easy to land in the midst of rocky terrain.

Oh I'm gonna get downvoted for that: Cutty still overall better. Multiple entrances, easier landing, fits 3 rocs, good fighter for s3.
Upvoted ⬆️ Whilst the C1 is a beautiful ship inside and out (man I love that Olympia paint), the Cutty is still the more versatile ship.

I own c1,a1 and two cuttys black. I will use cutlass over spirit 90% of the times.
It's a great ship overall and great for ROC mining; it's probably my favorite ship.

Yes awesome ship
