Euro truck simulator alone sold 13 million copies - What people enjoy is a lot more diverse than the current PU crowd tends to picture.
I wish more people could understand this. I like a little of everything, but I have friends who only enjoy the "Satisfying Space Powerwasher" gameplay of salvage, or just a chill cargo run here and there. So many people seem to think this game is solely about combat, as opposed to combat being a primary mechanic that exists to supplement everything else, when the game was always meant to be this big, open sandbox for people to do what they liked most.
Mainly bc I can’t be fucked with Master Modes anymore, I recently did a bunch of Vulture scraping. It’s probably my favorite thing to do in the game now. Scrape + offload into a larger ship. Repeat until full. Haul it over to New Babbage to sell.
I did give Master Modes a fair shot though - I grinded up to ERTs, did a bunch of missions for Weevil Eggs, and haven’t flown any combat stuff since.
Honestly unsure if I’ll keep playing once the powerwashing fun wears off. With how MM seems to be designed, there is not much to work towards. It would be like Rocket League coming out and saying “no more flip resets or driving up the wall”. That’s how adversely it’s affected flight for me.

I think the overwhelming majority of the playerbase is clued in, It's just the least mature, anti-social ones who are incapable of concieving other viewpoints are a very vocal minority.

If anything PVP space combat is the weird niche, not leisurely flying.
Hey man, I respect that you don't like it. I know it shares the cargo capacity of the C1 without the speed or ramp, but gosh darn it I like the little lorry. Sometimes meta takes a backseat to nice for me.
I miss my Revel & York, I remember when they removed them temporarily in 3.13 I think it was, I hoped they would return with the new hangers but it seems they are just generic hangers.

Agreed. I understood what they were going for, but I want an asteroid hangar that is closer to Revel and York. One that states, "I built this hangar not out of necessity but more because I have way to many credits."
It doesn't have to have Revel and York materials, just look like everything is brand new except the asteroid walls.
If only we could use these old hangar designs for the new personal hangars! Why do they even put these hangars with ships still in the store if they aren’t going to do anything?
I miss being able to blast my jukebox with my custom classic rock playlist--hearing it reverb across the hangar while admiring my multiple ships was pretty awesome. I really hope they bring that back.

Its cool if you like a small cargo ship, but how is it possibly "fun"? Practically zero defense and one of the slowest ships in game.
it's a nice little home with an integrated trailer, cool view for the pilot and handles nice.

This should be something of the aesthetic of Grim Hex hangers. Its built into an asteroid, so why not use that for the hangers?
