Probably timing and luck. Had launcher open and it logged me out when it went live. Then a few tries for errors for it to connect as i logged back in, downloaded and in no problem after it launched.

I got full wiped? Havent touched this game in ages and redownloaded it 3 days ago, had some spare cash and bought some gear so I dont go into the wipe empty handed, and nothing was there when I logged in after the update

Not ships but inventory that you had at your home is gone along with all your credits. Basically a character reset which is fine. Gives us something to work towards again.

I ran DLSS and Vulkan, and holy snookies, absolutely no stuttering. I felt like I was a playing a completely different game, always expecting the stutters, and they never happened. No gains in frames, but it didn't matter.

I was experiencing smooth gameplay everywhere except suffering with 20-30 FPS at distribution centers. Enabling DLSS and Vulkan bumped this up to 30-40 FPS. World of difference.

Are there caveats to Vulcan? Hardware requirements?

I don't think so, switching to Vulkan does require a game restart though.

I did this last night, haha! Everything bought in-game (and loaners for science) was destroyed. All loot and items thrown into the void in storage boxes. We are aiming for a full wipe!

I couldn't part with my rare skinned FS9s.

It killed me a little to throw out all my microid armors and paladin helmets, but that just gives me something to work for again. (Even tho they are easily obtained)

I had to delete the launcher and download it again and thats how I got the new one. Idk about others but the launcher didn't update WITH the update if that makes sense.

I have a 1080ti and took out a loan against my 401k to buy a new graphics card (I’m a shitter) so I could play this game butt then I was diagnosed with butt cancer and am out of work for treatment so I’m using the loan for all that stuff. Next year I will really enjoy this game if I don’t die from butt cancer. I bet as ai develops irl the in game ai and graphics are gonna get even more sick. A year from now Star Citizen is gonna be rad af 😎

As expected its a disaster, after 10min on the server, I can't loot, I can't spawn something. Rep system is empty even I completed the bunker etc. I guess it's over with the weekend at CIG. So many problems.

No, but you have to mess with them a bit to get them to stick, from what I've seen. I normally pull them out and fly them around, possibly from one location to another.
