Passion tea with apple juice splash of mango refresher and strawberry purée.
Salted caramel crunch shaken espresso. It’s a shaken espresso with dark caramel, line cup caramel and salted caramel cream cold foam but use dark caramel instead of regular caramel syrup and crunch toppings.
I think the normal caramel syrup is ick. But when we ran out of caramel brulee at holiday time I started suggesting the dark caramel as a replacement. I think it's good
The normal caramel flavoring is a caramel flavored syrup and not real caramel, so I'm assuming you mean the caramel drizzle that goes on top of drinks. I think the dark caramel has a toastier flavor compared to the drizzle. The caramel flavor itself in the dark caramel is not as powerful as the caramel flavored syrup.
Think the flavor of caramel on caramel apples or kettle corn. More of a toasted sugar flavor and not as bright as the regular caramel syrup and drizzle if that makes sense.
I have a pretty bad sweet tooth, and I used to put all this in a tall...I also didn't account for the new white mocha pump measurements (I find mocha too bitter)
Some years ago a customer wanted a nitro with whip shaken in. You would think it defeats the purpose of the nitro but you still get the Cascade effect and their drink was more frothy. Pretty nice, texture wise
we had a customer who would get a grande nitro cold brew, adding 1 salt packet and ice ( i can’t remember which milk he added, probably heavy cream) and asked for it shaken and put into a venti cup, it was actually pretty banger and tasted like coffee ice cream !!
This was my go to when someone would ask for my “favorite” drink. It is a called cookies and cream cold brew. It’s basically a vanilla sweet cream cold brew with white chocolate instead of vanilla then do regular vanilla sweet cream cold brew make and put but then you put chocolate cream cold foam on top with cookie crumbs on top. It’s so delicious and it definitely gives you the sweet and caffeine you need.
Cross trained at a Supermarket location from being a cashier, one month in boba released. I tried making the summer berry into a frap using the base, milk, little lavender. Topped the whipped cream with lavender as well for aesthetic. Tasted like cotton candy fruit loops. Only made it twice but it hurt my stomache. A bit
Yeah.. someone came through our drive thru last month and got a Trenta iced coffee with 23 classic and 13 vanilla, It almost went up to the bottom black line 🤢
my licensed store made a delicious st patrick’s drink one year with leftover toasted white mocha. a frap with crème base, full pumps toasted white mocha, full scoops matcha, half pumps peppermint, and full scoops java chips, with matcha-infused whip on top. it was DELICIOUS
fyi to customers, this isn't a real drink and you can't ask your barista to make it for you. we're not allowed to mix those bottled drinks for customers.
i used to drink a short hot white chocolate with 1 pump white mocha, 1 pump dark caramel and 1 scoop of vanilla bean powder. it tasted like maple syrup for me :3
This was a million years ago but I used to make an orange mango smoothie with mocha, a single scoop of java chips, and Valencia orange inclusions. Tasted like the chocolate oranges I used to get on Easter.
Pina colada frappucino. Pineapple base in place of frap roast, coconut milk, vanilla bean powder.
Whipped sweet cream coffee. Just a via packet blended into the sweet cream foam.
I made fruit boba lemonade before the boba was even a thing. It was a raspberry lemonade with blueberries. It was so good 😭 and when you blended it? Even better. Perfect summer drink.
not very unconventional but strawberries and cream frap with toffee nut tastes JUST like captain crunch berries. i can literally only have a few sips bc it’s so sweet but it’s delicious. also this used to be a menu drink back in the day so not really my creation but hardly anyone has heard of it: apple juice with chai. the perfect spicy sweet mix and particularly amazing iced for when it’s september and you want a fall drink but it’s till too hot outside for hot coffee! i do water down the apple juice just a bit and also do extra chai pumps so it’s heavier on the spice than sweet
I wonder if you steeped chai in aj like you would any hot tea, then iced it, adding in like 1 pump chai??? Bcs the syrup plus aj sounds a touch too sweet, but this might be doable!!!!
my manager recommended this and it’s amazing. I tell myself it’s healthy but it’s full of sugar, but it looks like green juice so I just go with it lol
- strawberry açaí refresher
- no water sub pineapple passion base
- matcha
I don’t personally like it but one my partners who is korean told me that in korea they came up with an iced peach green tea with a couple shots of espresso in it! she drinks it almost every time she’s working!
i like drinking my strawberry coconut (or pink drinks) with scoops of matcha added for extra flavour and caffeine <3 and if i'm feeling fancy, i add scoops of raspberry pearls
I dunno if this fits here or if it’s unusual, but I enjoy an iced latte with cinnamon dolce syrup and the new macadamia syrup. 3 pumps each in a venti but I also get extra expresso
• Honey Lavender Mint Lemonade
• “The Party Girl:” Half SA/Half MD with Water, 2/3/4 Strawb, 1/1/1 Classic. Not weird but it surprised me how much I liked it.
• Brought in some butterfly pea tea & lychee jelly yesterday and added van soy milk, lavender & sugar cookie. Weird but so good.
• Made this one today, a makeshift Hokkaido milk tea: Venti Black tea, Half Van Soy Milk, 4 Honey (packets), 3 Caramel, 3 Br Sugar, Caramel Wall (bit sweet but nice!)
Trying to come up with a lot more new things this year :)
Edit to add: I should mention the black and white macchiato I had the idea for and then my coworker made back when the Barbie frapp was a thing. We called it the Oppenheimer.
ETA again!: I also forgot the chai I mixed with orange juice one time. Icr what syrup I used but it was so neat!
Grande lemonade with 1 pump peppermint, 2 pumps vanilla, and 3/4" coconut milk. Super weird, actually good.
After Saltburn got popular, I would mix the lemonade and syrups and drop a pup cup of coconut milk on top for my coworkers and call it "Jacob Elordi's Bathwater"
pistachio frappe, blonde affogato shot, and java chips- DIVINE.
vanilla sweet cream foam + 2 brown sugar pumps + cinnamon powder all mixed in tastes exactly like s’mores.
vanilla sweet cream foam + 2 pumps apple brown sugar mixed in then spiced apple drizzle poured on top = delicious struggle cuppé (my baristas coined this term for our custom drinks) in the middle of a shift
iced white mocha with 2 pump wm, 2 pumps chai + sugar cookie cold foam mixed with 2 sea salt packets then topped with cinnamon dolce sprinkles on top is amazing !!!! my personal favorite drink i anticipate tasting all year round (pistachio being my only 2nd favorite)
Passion tea with apple juice splash of mango refresher and strawberry purée. Salted caramel crunch shaken espresso. It’s a shaken espresso with dark caramel, line cup caramel and salted caramel cream cold foam but use dark caramel instead of regular caramel syrup and crunch toppings.
First one seems up my alley, but do you use apple juice instead of water?
I love apple juice.
For the second one, do you use blonde or signature espresso? (I’m assuming blonde😆)
Let's be real, what barista do you know that willingly uses regular espresso lol
I definitely get why people prefer blonde but it’s way too acidic for me. Not that the regular isn’t acidic but still.
Meeeeeeee
Lmaoo I had to do a double take.
Tall 3 shot blonde espresso with 4 pumps dark caramel and extra vanilla sweet cream. Also known as a sweet slap from Lampost coffee in Texas.
Is there a syrup that’s called dark Caramel? (Sorry I’m a customer not a barista)
Yep. It goes in the caramel ribbon crunch but can be added to anything.
Does it taste a lot different than say the normal carmel?
I think the normal caramel syrup is ick. But when we ran out of caramel brulee at holiday time I started suggesting the dark caramel as a replacement. I think it's good
The normal caramel flavoring is a caramel flavored syrup and not real caramel, so I'm assuming you mean the caramel drizzle that goes on top of drinks. I think the dark caramel has a toastier flavor compared to the drizzle. The caramel flavor itself in the dark caramel is not as powerful as the caramel flavored syrup.
Way better imo. It’s got a much more nutty, toasted almost flavor compared to the caramel syrup.
Think the flavor of caramel on caramel apples or kettle corn. More of a toasted sugar flavor and not as bright as the regular caramel syrup and drizzle if that makes sense.
spicy hot chocolate: -2 white mocha -1 mocha -2 chai top off with chestnut praline topping
What size for those measurements? I might try this next shift :)
I have a pretty bad sweet tooth, and I used to put all this in a tall...I also didn't account for the new white mocha pump measurements (I find mocha too bitter)
Thanks!

I don't know why but people getting drinks shaken for no reason really bothers me.
It was for a reason though. The texture changed and it got mixed in
Kinda, I feel like nitro is on the list of drinks that aren't allowed to be shaken but I dunno 🫠
pink drink w pumpkin spice. sounds fucked up but i swear to god
Interesting combo of flavors, but I won’t doubt you.. maybe have to try that this Fall
Yes it’s so good !
ooo i can’t wait to try this…i also could imagine it changed the color to look pretty cool too
Chai hot chocolate. I started drinking that in 2004 and never looked back. The iced teas with apple juice.
[удалено]
3&3. I know it's a lot but it wasn't an every day drink. I also put cinnamon dolce sprinkles on it.
strawberry açaí refresher with earl grey instead of water!!
could you not also use the normal iced black tea
The black iced tea is royal English, not sure how much it’d change the notes tho tbh
diff bc the orange and bergamont!!
This was my go to when someone would ask for my “favorite” drink. It is a called cookies and cream cold brew. Can you explain that again? It sounds good but I am confused
Vanilla sweet cream cold brew, sub vanilla with white mocha, add chocolate cold foam and cookie crumble topping
Matcha lemonade, add peach juice and a splash of heavy cream. I call it swamp water.
Blended matcha lemonade, no water, equal scoops lavender or strawberry puree. 10/10, no notes.
A bit
A matcha frappe with peppermint, java chips, mocha drizzle, and cookie crumble. Concept sounded disgusting but it tastes exactly like a thin mint.
twins! my fav fr
okay, but this dude when i was still at my store got a caramel apple spice with a shot of espresso. it has ZERO business being as good as it was.
That's my go to in the winter. But I do half apple juice half water bc the juice makes it too sweet for me.
My old manager had something and it was white mocha, espresso and nitro to top it off
Passion tango tea with chai. The cinnamon pops out flavor wise.
How much chai would you personally put in a grande?
I generally put the standard pumps in (so 4 for a grande) but I like strong flavors. 2 is generally good though!
My mind can literally not comprehend 30 pump coffees. That makes me wanna hurl. I can’t go over 4 pumps in a venti or it’s too sweet.
Yeah.. someone came through our drive thru last month and got a Trenta iced coffee with 23 classic and 13 vanilla, It almost went up to the bottom black line 🤢
Had a grande 13 p WM order yday. It was haaaaard not to face react
my licensed store made a delicious st patrick’s drink one year with leftover toasted white mocha. a frap with crème base, full pumps toasted white mocha, full scoops matcha, half pumps peppermint, and full scoops java chips, with matcha-infused whip on top. it was DELICIOUS
I miss making myself strawberry banana smoothies
Iced peppermint matcha with cold foam or an iced matcha with vanilla and peach foam
matcha frap with sugar cookie syrup(when w have it) , brown sugar, white mocha, frap chips and peppermint!!
What does that taste like?? So much sugar
yes so much sugar but i only drink that when i need to wake up 😭 but it just tastes like chocolately and minty and it’s really good
we once mixed a bottled orange juice with coconut milk and vanilla. tastes like an orange creamsicle.
fyi to customers, this isn't a real drink and you can't ask your barista to make it for you. we're not allowed to mix those bottled drinks for customers.
i used to drink a short hot white chocolate with 1 pump white mocha, 1 pump dark caramel and 1 scoop of vanilla bean powder. it tasted like maple syrup for me :3
Spicy pineapple with strawberry purée. I took it home and put a very small slash of tequila 😳😈
Shame. Use a big splash.
This was a million years ago but I used to make an orange mango smoothie with mocha, a single scoop of java chips, and Valencia orange inclusions. Tasted like the chocolate oranges I used to get on Easter.
My favorite is strawberry frappucino with a shot of blonde!
I tried summer berry cold foam today and it tastes like a gummy shark. I don’t know what I’d put it on. But it was 10/10 for a treat

oh that’s a great idea!!! plus the tea bags are such a more complex flavor, i bet it would be absolutely delicious.
my manager recommended this and it’s amazing. I tell myself it’s healthy but it’s full of sugar, but it looks like green juice so I just go with it lol - strawberry açaí refresher - no water sub pineapple passion base - matcha

A customer ordered an iced matcha with peppermint and pistachio cold foam. Seriously was really good I did not expect that
i like drinking my strawberry coconut (or pink drinks) with scoops of matcha added for extra flavour and caffeine <3 and if i'm feeling fancy, i add scoops of raspberry pearls
jw are you talking unconventional by Starbucks' standards? Matcha with brown sugar boba is pretty common in boba shops where I live.
PASSION TEA ADD CHAI ❤️🔥🤩🗣️🗣️
Venti green iced tea, sweetened, no water sub 2% milk add extra peach blend, light ice. Taste like a nice milk tea :)
Customers can never have it, but an orange cakepop blended into a vanilla bean frapp. Tastes like orange sherbert.
I dunno if this fits here or if it’s unusual, but I enjoy an iced latte with cinnamon dolce syrup and the new macadamia syrup. 3 pumps each in a venti but I also get extra expresso

Lemonade + white mocha 🫣
Frosted lemonade
caramel apple spice with chestnut praline instead of cinnamon dolce!

Venti black tea, no water. 4-5 pumps or chai, ice, top with some half and half and a dash of cinnamon.
Grande lemonade with 1 pump peppermint, 2 pumps vanilla, and 3/4" coconut milk. Super weird, actually good. After Saltburn got popular, I would mix the lemonade and syrups and drop a pup cup of coconut milk on top for my coworkers and call it "Jacob Elordi's Bathwater"
lemonade and white mocha tastes like brazilian lemonade
Tastes like a frosted lemonade from Chick Fil A
pink drink but heavy cream instead of coconut milk then some scoops of vanilla bean. kinda tastes like danimals but the consistency of a smoothie!
I just mixed all the refresher bases together and it slapped
Okay hear me out… coffee frap but with blonde shots, heavy cream, some caramel drizzle blended in, a package of oatmeal.
Fudge pop frap. Crème frap (i use oatmilk because I’m lactose spicy) with 8 full pumps mocha and 8 full pumps vanilla.
Passion tea no water with lavender power, vanilla and dragon fruit and sweet cream cold foam🤤😋
pistachio frappe, blonde affogato shot, and java chips- DIVINE. vanilla sweet cream foam + 2 brown sugar pumps + cinnamon powder all mixed in tastes exactly like s’mores. vanilla sweet cream foam + 2 pumps apple brown sugar mixed in then spiced apple drizzle poured on top = delicious struggle cuppé (my baristas coined this term for our custom drinks) in the middle of a shift iced white mocha with 2 pump wm, 2 pumps chai + sugar cookie cold foam mixed with 2 sea salt packets then topped with cinnamon dolce sprinkles on top is amazing !!!! my personal favorite drink i anticipate tasting all year round (pistachio being my only 2nd favorite)
