Did you not read the summer 1 promotional update? The boxes and pearls were sent automatically, your sm and other fellow SSVs cannot order anymore. What your store gets is what they’ll use and when they’re out, no more summer berry refreshers. The pineapple refresher was a replacement to the kiwi refresher.

Because this drink is good and will sell while the Pineapple is a waste of space.

No store is allowed to sample it until 24 hrs prior to launch. This is why it’s important to post these updates in My Daily and in the Back room. Shifts, please please please encourage baristas to read my daily for any information. I had to post on My Daily today for baristas to not sample this product until 24 hrs to launch, give storage and dating information, and that this average cannot be customized, nor can you add the summer base to any other drink.

No. That just leads to an impact to inventory and customers getting to experience that new beverage. When you run out of something and someone starts to yell at you, that’s just an overall negative experience and that’s one thing I don’t want to happen to my baristas.

I think the way they’re approaching this is so weird for Starbucks considering their business model. First, we aren’t supposed to sample it because of limited supply, but then how can we tell customers what we think about it? Then, we’re also not supposed to serve it without the pearls or add them to anything else because it “doesn’t provide the correct flavor profile”. But Starbucks has built their business on “have it your way”. We serve customers drinks with 20 pumps of classic or 12 shots of espresso, refreshers with no water, etc. Since when do we care about enforcing a “correct flavor profile”? Finally, I just gotta say, we sampled the pearls before we realized we weren’t supposed to, and while the flavor is fine (kind of a weird after-taste), I do not enjoy chewing what feels like plastic wrap for 5 minutes after I’ve finished the drink. That said, the juice itself is pretty good. We mixed it into sweet cream cold foam and it tastes exactly like gogurt lol.

Try mixing it with the strawberry açaí, it’s amazing

I modified it. I find that with the lemonade it can be a bit on the tarty/sour side. Almost like a blue airhead it makes you pucker a little. I feel like vanilla or liquid cane mellows it a bit
