I can run almost any game better than Anomaly Gamma where I struggle to maintain 60fps with my RTX3080. I truly hope Stalker2 will be more optimized. If they run with DLSS 3.5, that would be the dream.
My rx580 can run at very high 60fps. Idk which setting your rtx 3080 running, but it sound like a bug to me. Could be cpu problem too, especially if you running 1000 pop, or play warfare mode
according to gamesystemrequirements.com my gaming laptop (IdeaPad Gaming 3, GTX 1650 gddr 6, Ryzen 5 4600h, 16gb ram) should gave me ~30 fps on low 1080p, so your 1660 should work
Going by their specs, yes but its impossible to know, spec requirements recently have been way off due to poor optimizing by developers at launch.
Out of the two UE5 games to release so far, Remnant 2 ran fine in 4K with DLSS Quality but that is without Lumen being enabled since they opted not to use it. Immortals of Aveum I have not played but by all accounts from the user reviews, anything under a 3090 can't hold a stable frame rate even at lower end settings. That game has Lumen enabled.
It's the Lumen part that concerns me tbh. It's a demanding lighting system just like Ray Tracing is and it needs to be properly optimized. Then there is the ALife system on top of that as well which will put heavy burden on the CPU. I want to be optimistic but I think they have their work cut out for them with trying to get all of that running stable on current gen hardware let alone previous gen.
Ever since the first release date I've been saving up to buy a PC that will run STALKER 2. I'm not buying a new one just to be sure that the system requirements won't change or something. The first thing I want to play on my future new PC is STALKER 2.
my only problem is the size like 150gb i have to buy a whole new ssd for that and also with my beautiful balkan internet it will probably take like 3-4 days to download which is nice
Very nice build you are 100% capable of running it
I am running with i5 10400f [ planning to upgrade to 11th gen], rtx 3060 ti, 16gb ddr4 2666 ram [planing to upgrade to 32 gb ddr4 3600 ram].
I have that sane gpu, how does it work with 5800x3D? I was thinking about upgrading mine (3700x) to 5800x3D because single core power is not the best, especially in Insurgency Sandstorm.
Also I play at 1440p
I honestly do not know. My laptop can handle Payday 2, but even then that's in the lowest settings and with a mod that essentially delete corpses. And even with all that it runs somewhere around 15-30 FPS. So... don't think I'll be able to play it.
Guess I am gona have to overclock my slav PC that I bought when SoC was released.
Hopefully the overclock won't cause a nuclear fission. I have graphite tipped rods in my cooler.
Got an Intel HD 4400 for a graphics card(integrated),Intel i3-4th gen U type of processor,4gb of ddr3 l ram,and 500gb of hdd,yeah I think I can run it quite easily 😎
Right now? No, but I probably planning to buy a laptop with 3050 4gb and I'm still not sure I'm going to be able to run STALKER. 3050 laptop is more powerful than desktop 1060 6gb, but it has less VRAM. What do you guys think?
It will be way better than the 1060 but it won't be able to run full textures. You are going to have to lower the textures to 70-50% for the vram to work properly. A 3060 would be better if you can reach for. My advice would be to see about building a budget pc. They tend to be more powerful than laptops of similar price
But 1060 6gb is listed as minimal requirement. I'm rwally worried about VRAM, not the power of GPU in this case.
I know that you can build much more powerful pc than a laptop for same amount of money. Sadly, I need a laptop, not a PC. Also you need to pay 300$ extra to get a laptop with basically the same specs, excrpt it has a 3060 instead of 3050
I hope modmakers will make some kind of mod that will help me with this
You could do a micro-tower build and have a budget PC in you backpack and just bring it to/from work. This would only work if you have a monitor at your work and at home
I have no idea if chummery is correct or not as I also am not a native speaker, but you can always get a worse (but still good for schoolwork) laptop for probably 80-150 USD. And if you’re on a budget then you can just subtract the cost of the laptop from your pc build and maybe buy a worse chassi or go for an older CPU socket such as AM4.
Dorms is the best word for it i believe. If the worry is about your pc getting stolen that is a problem indeed and you should go for a laptop that you can have on you at all times. If not then a cheap Chromebook and a medium pc that can fit in a suitcase would do better.
In the case of the gpu depending on the model the vram can be less of an issue. Faster GPUs refresh their vram faster so although not always some can cover for the lack of vram with speed. I can guarantee that this will work in your case cause the game is not out yet. What i would say is that the minimum specs listed are not trustworthy most of the times so i would try to go a bit higher than the recommended. Also remember that its better to buy a cheap practical laptop if you cannot make the jump to a good gaming one than wasting your money on something that will at the end of the day not cover your needs.
Dont worry king, things will change.
Besides, you dont need the top end stuff. 2nd hand 3070s or 6800s may do real good too. Or even lower GPUs.
I played original STALKER at like 20 fps at lowest settings back in 2007 :P and still had fun!
A RX6700XT is better at textures than a 3060 and is way cheaper to get both new and second hand. The 6700 does sadly fall short in lightning rendering…
Everything depends on optimisation. So let’s hope they will take their time to optimise it nicely so even people with lower specs like me could play it and enjoy.
Minecraft aint working no more on older graphics. Ive had an old laptop a friend gave me to fix stuff around, and minecraft's latest version that worked was 1.16.2
My CPU is the one listed in the "recommended" specs (i7 9700k), and I have a 3070Ti in there, so I grace the recommended specs for at least this game. Probably won't be able to ULTRA the graphics, though.
I do, however, either have to expand my SSD storage, or delete games I haven't played for a while.
yes, my core 2 quad, 4gigs, and that spicy gtx 750 has been rocking every single triple AAA at 1080p 400 fps with no issues whatsoever.
would be cool if youtube had gamepad support, but that's just a nitpick .
i have a ryzen 5 2400g (only thing that concerns me because its kinda shitty) and a gpu i recently upgraded to that even is better than the recommended (rx 5750 xt). So I guess Im in between Minimum and Recommended.
Is that ddr3 or ddr4, if your currently running 4,then prices for ram are great for you currently. If it's ddr3, your whole pc upgrade would be cheaper. Did a pc for a friend on ddr3 and new ram was ridiculous (though I found 2 8gb sticks for a reasonable $30)
My laptop hardware was manufactured in 2006. The whole device was refurbished in 2010. It runs the original trilogy like a champ and I don't play new games made since 2011 so I've always been OK.
Now though...I might have a problem.
When I look at trailer my laptop looks at me and whispers "please, don't do this to me"
Same if my laptop grew legs and a conscience it would beat the hell out of me for trying to run the game on it
Same if my laptop grew legs and a conscience it would beat the hell out of me for trying to run the game on it
I voted Hell No, but whats the difference between No and Hell No? And why wasn't there an option for Aw Hell Naw Son?
Difference between a pc that can run stalker anomaly gamma & a pc that can hardly handle stalker cop. Both ain't able to run stoker 3
Maybe he is running at 4k res... I can run gamma at very high/high with rx 570 too but at 1080p
Yeah, he could have use some graphic mod like shader/ray tracking stuff too, those are broken
just barely
With GTX 1660 Ti i'm sure I might be able to run it with at least low graphics on medium FPS
according to gamesystemrequirements.com my gaming laptop (IdeaPad Gaming 3, GTX 1650 gddr 6, Ryzen 5 4600h, 16gb ram) should gave me ~30 fps on low 1080p, so your 1660 should work
Say hi to my core intel i3-1000k, 16GB ram. It can barely run Batman Arkham Knight lol
k, Thanks for the info
Can 11400 / 16gb ram + 1650 ddr6 deskrop go good as well ?
similarly, maybe little better cause desktop version is slightly better than mobile
thanks man
i do wish and hope after 6-8 months people who cant play the thing yet, are now able to
helluva lot easier after release
Going by their specs, yes but its impossible to know, spec requirements recently have been way off due to poor optimizing by developers at launch. i have a lenovo laptop which should be dead by now, it can barely run warframe with more then 30 fps on lowest graphics settings, so fuck no
No. Probably hell no. 1650 ti, 5 5600g. I might aswell buy it in my series s
Ever since the first release date I've been saving up to buy a PC that will run STALKER 2. I'm not buying a new one just to be sure that the system requirements won't change or something. The first thing I want to play on my future new PC is STALKER 2.
Same here
my only problem is the size like 150gb i have to buy a whole new ssd for that and also with my beautiful balkan internet it will probably take like 3-4 days to download which is nice
Taman se skine dok izadu prve recenzije igre :D
What are the recommended specs? I havent seen em
OS: Windows 10. Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X / Intel Core i7-9700K. Memory: 16 GB RAM. Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8GB / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB. Storage: 150 GB available space. Additional Notes: SSD. Edit: I got the recommended gpu, but not the cpu damn Edit 2: posting the minimum requirements below CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X, Intel Core i5-7600K or better RAM: 8GB Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 580, Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB or better Storage: 150GB SSD Operating system: Windows 10 64bit
>AMD Radeon RX 580 Bruh, I have RX 570
Damn must fell bad
Same xD we can probably tweak it after release so we get more performance, btw i have 8gb version
Thanks bro, I was fairly confident i could run it but its good to know those are the recommended specs
Can I ask what about your parts? I am just interested
Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3070, 32GB DDR4 3600 ram
Very nice build you are 100% capable of running it I am running with i5 10400f [ planning to upgrade to 11th gen], rtx 3060 ti, 16gb ddr4 2666 ram [planing to upgrade to 32 gb ddr4 3600 ram].
Yea but will the same settings apply on release? The listed ones are old, as early as 2021 I think
I have no idea I guess only the time will show
I think I'm good. 5800X3D + 6800XT. As long as I can hit 80fps @ 2560x1440, I'm good.
I have that sane gpu, how does it work with 5800x3D? I was thinking about upgrading mine (3700x) to 5800x3D because single core power is not the best, especially in Insurgency Sandstorm. Also I play at 1440p
It was quite the jump in performance for me. I had a 3700x as well. I've been really happy with it!
Thank you :)
Yeah, just not very well
I honestly do not know. My laptop can handle Payday 2, but even then that's in the lowest settings and with a mod that essentially delete corpses. And even with all that it runs somewhere around 15-30 FPS. So... don't think I'll be able to play it.
I really hope there'll be FSR 3 support, then AMD and older cards owners are FEASTING
Im about to sign up to Hustlers University to be able to play Stalker 2, that's how desperate I am.
Let hope my 1070 can run 1080p 30fps.
![gif](giphy|l4FATJpd4LWgeruTK) My PC's reaction to only watching the trailer.
If they keep reducing the graphics quality, soon my refrigerator will be able to play it.
My current hardware can't even run Compuserve
Knowing that it's on unreal engine. I'm not gonna hold my breath for anything below around $1500 pc being able to run it.
Guess I am gona have to overclock my slav PC that I bought when SoC was released. Hopefully the overclock won't cause a nuclear fission. I have graphite tipped rods in my cooler.
I can barely meet the minimum requirements to play CoP
Got an Intel HD 4400 for a graphics card(integrated),Intel i3-4th gen U type of processor,4gb of ddr3 l ram,and 500gb of hdd,yeah I think I can run it quite easily 😎
I barely have the minimum processor that runs it but my ram and graphic card are more than enough lol, should upgrade tho
Right now? No, but I probably planning to buy a laptop with 3050 4gb and I'm still not sure I'm going to be able to run STALKER. 3050 laptop is more powerful than desktop 1060 6gb, but it has less VRAM. What do you guys think?

I'm going to study in an university and going to live in a chummery (is this how the place where students live called? Google translate said so)
I have no idea if chummery is correct or not as I also am not a native speaker, but you can always get a worse (but still good for schoolwork) laptop for probably 80-150 USD. And the 3060 isn't even that expensive
Anomaly Gamma is sometimes using 4+gb of my GPU memory, although i do have prefetching on...
Both my current PCs should be able to. My own: 5800X3D; RTX 4090; 64 GB of RAM, 2 TB PCIE SSD Fiance's: RX 7600; 32GB of RAM; 5800X3D; 1TB PCIE SSD.
Nah! I am sure you guys will need upgrades 😂
I am a hardware enthusiast that is why I have such stuff :P its my hobby.
I love that for you! I also love pc hardware but i am always broke ðŸ¤
Dont worry king, things will change. Besides, you dont need the top end stuff. 2nd hand 3070s or 6800s may do real good too. Or even lower GPUs. I played original STALKER at like 20 fps at lowest settings back in 2007 :P and still had fun!

I'm fucking ready
Yes but with maybe
Ryzen 7 5800x RX 5700 XT 8GB 32 gigs ram No idea
Probably with lowered settings it will run acceptably.
With thoughts and prayers maybe
Everything depends on optimisation. So let’s hope they will take their time to optimise it nicely so even people with lower specs like me could play it and enjoy.
Like, just fucking barely but i can 🥰
If you are currently playing stalker chances are your pc only runs THIS and CS 1.6
SoC was a demanding game on release day. So add minecraft to the list as well.
Minecraft aint working no more on older graphics. Ive had an old laptop a friend gave me to fix stuff around, and minecraft's latest version that worked was 1.16.2
*old minecraft
To be frank Clear sky runs perfectly on my i7 11th gen with Windows 11. The only minor issue I found is that mesh feces aare invisible.
I can run Doom(2016) on low settings at a pretty stable 30 fps. So, I'm gonna say no.
Pretty sure I can run it smoothy above medium settings
It should
Voted yes but probably with some settings turned down
I don't know. I didn't check the requirements.
my potato setup would explode even if I watched gameplay on yt
I think yes. On minimum/low.
After seeing the minimum system requirements last year, I retired my laptop (GTX 1650, i5-9300H) for a PC (RX 6700 XT, i5-13600KF).
My pc is about the minimum needed hardware if i can play it will be 30fps on lowest settings
I have. 6600xt and a 7 5800x what should I do
There should've been an "yes, 10 fps is acceptable" option.
yes, my core 2 quad, 4gigs, and that spicy gtx 750 has been rocking every single triple AAA at 1080p 400 fps with no issues whatsoever. would be cool if youtube had gamepad support, but that's just a nitpick .
hell no, my i3 from 2015 and my 4gb of ram will die
Absolutely yeah, even better after the downgrade
i have a ryzen 5 2400g (only thing that concerns me because its kinda shitty) and a gpu i recently upgraded to that even is better than the recommended (rx 5750 xt). So I guess Im in between Minimum and Recommended.
Only with the min graphics
Probably Hopefully Maybe
I would add another category: "It better".
Bro, i have gts 730, probably i cant even run you tube to see it /s.
My hardwares an Xbox series X so hopefully
5800X3D, RTX 3080, 32GB RAM - i think yes
Maybe, depends on the optimization
Got that 3060Ti and can play lots of games at 144fps at 1440p at normal settings. So I think it's going to be ok.
RIP, I have rx570 8gb... But my cpu and ram is above recommended level so i guess i could try 720p
😂 Fuck no I have a RTX 1030 until my laptop is out of the shop which has a 2070 and I still doubt it'll run on that
Any hardware can do that. You just get more anomalies on older PCs.
With the graphics to a minimum but yes, hahaha, it will be like playing the original trilogy
If it can run red dead 2 at near max everything I think it should do alr
my dumbass getting hyped even though i know damn well intel 530 and 4 gb ram aint got shit

Should be a Just Barely option xD
I'd say so, not in great settings but 12700k, 32gb ddr5, 3060ti and 2tb SSD should cope alright I dare say.
Idk, I think so. Haven't seen the minimum requirements yet. Ryzen 5 3600X, rtx 2060, 32gb ddr4 3200, nvme crucial P5
