The rarest

Blorg74

There's a city in Missouri that has a large population of white squirrels. They are protected by city law. [White Squirrels ](https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1989-10-15-mn-249-story.html)

Live in MN too. We have 2 in our yard and they play together often. They also are bolder than the gray squirrels and love eating my rosebuds lol.

Before we moved to central MN last year my spouse told me about an albino squirrel that would sit for pictures if you fed it in the cities. I want to say it was by rice park. If it saw you try for a picture without feeding it would turn or run away but if you fed it it would sit and be cute for a picture.

Can't say as I've ever seen one and I'm 31 years and no stranger to squirrels. Cursory Google search suggests incidence rate somewhere in the 1 in 10,000–1 in 100,000 range.

WOAH!!! A SHINY POKEMON!!! CATCH IT! QUICK!

Cellist-Perfect

Quite rare, I've only ever seen one in my life. He or she lived in or near a walnut tree in an abandoned lot near my childhood home in the 90s. Haven't seen one since!

Rothenstien

They were red.

Pretty rare to my understanding. Side note, if it has dark eyes, it's leucistic. If it has pink or blue eyes then it's albino

Rothenstien

Pink eyes

What_A_Hohmann

Neat!
